The XXS is key for a travel neck pillow
Neck pillows seem like a godsend on a long haul flight, but I'm always surprised at how few people use them. At least part of it must be that they're SUPER bulky, and in this day of rollaboard, no checked bags airtravel, every inch counts.Enter the Sea to Summit Ultra Sil compression sack, XXS size. First of all, amazing that you can get a compression sack of this quality in this variety of sizes. Waterproof, durable and easy to use--these things are amazing. Most high quality neck pillows are made of polyurethane foam, like memory foam. Therefore they're ideal for compressing into minimal volume. Cabeau, Travel rest, etc. The simple nylon sacks they come in have no compression capability save for maybe a single Velcro strap. With this stuff sack, you can get at least 4:1 compression.

Perfect!
This was the perfect solution to compress some hiking gear for my backpack. I will likely be ordering the larger sizes.

Description, photos, and sizing is wrong on this product.
This product’s size was mislabeled on thecwebsite. The “3.3 liter” sack I ordered was actually a 10 liter, Sea-to-Summit size “Small.” The Small will, according to S-t-S, compress to 3.3 ltrs, which must be where the seller got the idea what is a 3.3 dry sack. According to S-t-S, 3.3 liter is a size XX Small and not the product listedcas 3.3 ltrs. Too, the product pictured is an E-Vent bag and not a sil, 30D material. Double-check the description and sizing to make sure you are ording what you need. I suggest that the seller align their description, sizing, and photos with the manufacter. Both the E-vent and the Ultr-Sil compression Sea-to-Summit sacks are fantastic!

Holding up extremly well now for four years use!
I cram a lot of stuff in here and really compress it down. So far, no failures in any seams. I haven't tested soaking it or anything like that. I put my clothes in one of these and my sleeping bag in another one of these. I'm assuming they will repel water as advertised and I'll wait for the day that I'm drenched to see if they really work. The best part is that the material really holds up. I purchased these four seasons ago and have taken them on seven, one-week trips now. I've packed and repacked them probably 20-30 times at least and still no failures. And I pack them, then sit on them to really squish them down, then pull the straps tight. It's really dense when I'm done. I am very careful to be sure I am evenly distributing the tension and not just pulling like crazy in all directions. That may make the big difference as I'm not being sloppy about it.

Ultra light, water tight, and super compressible dry bag.
I needed a dry bag to keep my extra clothing dry while backpacking and these bags were recommended to my by another seasoned backpacker. I had originally bought one of the regular compression dry sacks (the non ultra sil version) and I had liked it very much. When it came time to purchase another dry bag I chose the ultra sill version this time. When you compare this to the original it seems a little less durable but its performance has stood up just as well while weighing less. What sets these bags apart from other types of dry sacks in the eVENT technology that lets you compress your dry sack by letting all the air out while still remaining water tight.I bought the 6L size bag which is about big enough to fit a couple extra pair of socks and underwear, an inflatable pillow, a travel size towel, and a set of thermals. While this is the perfect size for my needs, if you intend on carrying more clothing I would recommend the next size up.

Well made, lightweight, does the job
I needed a way to waterproof my hammock (Warbonnet Blackbird) in its Bishop Bag. This fit the bill perfectly. It is well made, functional, and kept the hammock dry during a bushwhack down a creek with multiple crossings, one swim, and a pounding thunderstorm with hail and epic rain. The bagged hammock fit in the XS size nicely and compressed down to a compact bundle.I like it. I just bought another XS, and in addition one of the XXS for a planned kayak trip I have coming up. I have no issues with straps twisting, loosening, or anything else. This is a piece of lightweight/ultralight gear-- it takes a bit of focus when using and it needs to be handled with a modicum of care. If you want something that takes zero thought to use there are simpler (and heavier) options. This is a good product that does the job.

Meh
To be honest for the price and given the name I expected more. Sure it's ok, but for the money I just thought it would be special and it's not really. Any of my other waterproof stuff sacks would be just as good so the benefit I thought I was getting paying more for what seemed a more substantial one wasnt really worth it. The compression straps dont really compress the contents much more than you've already done squeezing the air out of the dry bag and the buckles are fairly fragile so you wouldn't want to force it too much. I wanted something more rugged I could really squeeze my sleep system into real tight and shrink it down. Turns out their original bags do just as good a job

Disappointing sack from a good company
Everytime I tried to compress the bag the straps would fold in on itself at the buckle. This made it hard for the straps to be released.Shame as their older model which was a smaller size just rocked, tough, less prone to bunching and lasted years.

Perfect for Alpkit Pipedream 400 XL
I bought this based on the reviews and based on past experience with sea-to-summit products. I've always liked the brand and have been impressed by the quality of their products. I have some of their dry bags for around 10 years now and still going strong. I even use the larger ones to wash clothes in while travelling. This bag was bought to store my Alpkit Pipedream 400-XL sleeping bag, and it fits perfectly. The sleeping bag goes in easily, and the compression straps do an excellent job of making it small enough to fit in my back back.I've not tested just how waterproof it is yet, but based on other sil-nylon products I have from Sea-to-Summit, I do not expect any issues.

Well made, compresses my four season down sleeping bag in the large one easy, the end with the buckles on needs to have more material.
