Blue Heron 3/4 Inch Replacement Repair Kit For Febco 765

A perfect replacement for the broken plastic valve in my Febco 765 (brass) 3/4 inch Pressure Vacuum Breaker Assembly. I didn't winterize my sprinkler system in time the previous winter which resulted in some freezing and breakage of internal plastic parts. Had a major leak through the top of the anti-siphon valve in the spring. The original plastic kit had done it's job by freezing and breaking while protecting the much more expensive brass valve.When I compared the Blue Heron part to the original Febco part, the Blue valve seemed to be a little better made and more robust. It only took about a minute to replace and when I turned the water back on, the leak was stopped. A simple fix and inexpensive enough to keep an extra one around in my sprinkler parts kit. Very satisfied with this purchase.Note:Some people buy these, install them and turn on the water and are surprised that water gushes out the top of the anti-siphon valve. Seeing the leak, they're sure they got a defective valve. The initial leak is normal operation for my valve. Every time I turn the water back on in the spring, some water gushes out for a few seconds until the anti-siphon valve closes and stops the leak. If your valve leaks at first, give it a little time to seal. You might have to turn it on an off a couple times to get it to work.

Great Replacement Kit for Febco 765 Lawn Sprinkler Part! The part fits great. There are no leaks. The Amazon price was great. Best of all I did not have to drive all around town searching for this part. It was shipped to my door. Years back I did have to drive around looking for one of these and no one had it. I also like how you have the option to buy the O ring and gasket separately if needed for the future. This would save a homeowner from re-purchasing the part if it was not cracked but was leaking. If anyone has had to fight the battle of the leaking Febco 765 anti-siphon valve, you may know how frustrating it can be.There are several products which are made out of a somewhat translucent beige material. After installing several of these and watching them fail (one immediately), I was looking into alternatives for replacing the entire valve assembly.I found this model and placed an order. The piece which came in the mail is like the picture, opaque and blue. To be honest, this piece LOOKS cheaper than the others. I only mention that since it was my initial impression. The edges are sharp and it appears to not be as high of quality.However, the product does exactly what it says. It does come with the gaskets installed, they seal nicely, and the replacement parts are dimensioned correctly.

After having the original Febco valve for 12 years, it leaked when I turned on the water for my irrigation system. First I tried replacing just the rubber O ring with one that was close to the same size from my stock. That stopped the leak but for only about a week.I decided to replace the entire assembly rather than get just the gasket replacement kit. The hard part was deciding if I should purchase the original equipment part or this replacement. The price was low enough that I decided to purchase the replacement.The part was shipped promptly and arrived several days before the estimated date. Installation was straight forward and the unit works great.I would recommend this replacement part for anyone who has the Febco valve and it begins to leak.

Just received the Blue Heron in the mail yesterday. I was concerned being that there were a couple bad reviews but I have to say I am totally satisfied with this product even though its just been one day. The original assembly lasted for 12-years so that was another concern I had with a new product. However, with the ease of installation in just 2-minutes, it solved my problem at 45% of the cost if I had purchased the FEBCO repair package at the local nursery store. I would recommend though to cover the PVB valve assembly in colder climates to prevent cracking as a result of a hard freeze.

They had this delivered via USPS on Easter Sunday morning at 10:30am wow great service!When I first went to install this the threads seemed different then the OEM housing, I put a bit of pool silicone grease around threads of this unit & the OEM metal housing, it went in like butter. This is so much better then the OEM Febco where the plastic notches snapped off the Febco old one when trying to take it out.Go with this unit, It works perfect!

It fit on my Febco 765 with no problems. It comes with everything you need. So far it is holding up fine. I have no leaks and it seems it will hold up pretty strong. I do recommend it.
