Excellent tool
I purchased this tool to do my new kitchen back splash. The tile was 3x6 marble and every cut was made using this wet saw. The attached picture shows the work-in-progress. At this point all I've done is cement the pieces into position so you can see the cuts made using the wet saw. I wanted a saw where the blade is positioned above your work rather than below like a table saw. When the blade is over the tile, it's is less likely to chip or damage the finished side while the cut is being made. Another good feature is the sliding table which also lessens the probability of scratching the tile v/s models where you have to physically slide the tile across the saw's table. You have more control which allows for more precise cuts. The fence is very useful for repeated rip cuts. All the parts appear to be well made and I expect this tool will hold up for a long time.

A great balance of weight and versatility.
Unless you are cutting 24 inch floor tiles or stone counters all day 10 inch saws offer nothing more than a pain in the lower back. I borrowed a MK 6 inch saw years ago to redo a bathroom and kitchen in a vacation house. It did a great job, but it was pushing its limits to cut larger than 6 x 6 tiles. One of the best aspects of the saw is that it was less than 30 pounds while still offering good cuts with no chips or broken tiles. I rented a few 10 inch saws for some smaller projects. The last saw I never took off of the tailgate of my truck because it weighed close to 100 pounds. This made cleaning it difficult. When I decided it was time to redo my kitchen backsplash 100+ miles from the closest tool rental store it became apparent that it would be better for me to purchase a saw. I knew that MK Diamond saws worked well. This saw only improves the shortcomings of the previous saw I used at the expense of about 10 pounds of additional weight. The slide is capable of handling larger floor tiles. It had no problems cutting 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 tiles. The saw still offers the ability to cut 45 degree angles for bullnose and corners and it is also able to do plunge cuts for outlets or plumbing. The pump is basic. You might choose to upgrade to a different one, or better yet pump from a 5 gallon bucket of clean water while leaving the dirty water in your pan. The accessory kit is a must for installing tiles on the point, and off center mitre cuts. I cut 200+ tiles and the provided blade still looks new so no complaints there either. One of the biggest mistakes people make cutting tile is not being patient. Pushing the blade leads to chipping the diamonds off of the blade and cracking or chipping the tiles. If the diamonds feel smooth on the blade, a couple cuts on a dressing stone solves the issue quickly. Regarding negative reviews about the slide sticking, my advice is to keep the saw clean, and use high quality lubricant after every use.

Great saw for the money.
I'm a bathroom contractor. I purchased this saw more than 7 years ago and have cut nearly ten thousand tiles with it. Last week the saw finally gave out with the motor having difficulty running. The saw has the ability to "plunge cut" which essential for cutting large holes in tiles. The only time I have disliked this tool is when the water pump had some difficulty running which happened about five years into my owning it. I replaced the pump for less than $25.00. For the money, I'd rate it a five star!! Several days ago I purchased another one just like it. Hopefully I'll have the same success!!

Excellent choice for the do-it-yourselfer
I purchased this saw after my wife created a tile design for a new bathroom that required just about every tile be cut--effectively eliminating the local tool rental shop from consideration. Since then, it's also aided in several room floor tile projects. I've owned many power tools, and I've found the MK 370 to be one of the better ones overall. The motor is sized for the job and delivers consistent, smooth power without excessive vibration at the cutting edge (but do use ear protection-the gearbox is a noisy one). The saw cuts glazed tiles without major chipping so long as a steady and moderate feed rate is maintained. I've had no trouble making precise and accurate cuts. Although the table rollers were misalign out of the box, 2 minutes and 1 wrench fixed this. A small amount of oil applied to the polished glide rod also goes a long way towards ensuring a day of smooth table operation. Working with tiles up to 10 x 10 inches is no problem--despite what the product description says, you can even make many cuts on 13 x 13 inch tiles if you don't mind working with a couple of inches overhang at the blade edge. The only major weakness is the water pump--even though I use a clean water supply, the pump fades with continuous usage and the blade is not always well lubricated. The only way I've found to avoid this problem is to keep the pump at the same level as the saw. If MK would fix this-I'd rate the saw a straight 5 stars for the home user. The stand kit is an excellent companion purchase, as is the variable angle rip guide (the saw comes with only a fixed 90-degree guide).
