Update to my review 4/9/2020 I had the unit replaced and running a few days and in few hours time the tank filled up and it’s working much better than before, I gave them 5 starts because of their support and the product. For something that had to work hard all day long the sound is awesome it’s not annoying I don’t even notice. I’m just amazed what this little thing is doing and it’s not a sore eye to look at.Everything about this product was perfect the look is really nice. I ran it for 3 days but it did not preform to my expectations. I have a small room in the basement very damp smell, its not finished The unit filled up I would say 1 1/2 times i was excepting to pull out more , I had it set to 40% and it never got below 45% maybe I got a defective product. I had high hopes and i think this will work well not under extreme conditions (don't get me wrong i don't have mold spores growing) its a heavy damp smell. I have used a lot more expensive ones in the past and last for years, did great jobs for bigger areas, its really quite when running on high, i think its very well made it did not feel like a light plastic junk. This would be perfect for a bed room (small) bathroom. the price was perfect compared to others. I wish I was writing a positive review but unfortunately here i am.

This is a really nice compact dehumidifier and it works very well for it's size. I'm using it in a small bedroom but often leave the door open and it helps keep the humidity down in my 600 sf apartment in Seattle. I have a separate hygrometer so I use that to check it's effectiveness. Prior to setting this up the humidity was usually 60-70% in my apartment. After running it for a few weeks the humidity is consistently in the low 40's%. I set it to 40% so it runs pretty much continually and has so far been reliable. As far as noise the main sound I notice is the small fan. It's not terribly loud and I don't find it to be disruptive. It's actually pretty good as "white noise" for sleeping and I find that I don't really notice it at all. The one inconvenience is that I don't have a place to drain it so I am frequently emptying the very small reservoir. I really can't fault the manufacturer for this since it is a necessary trade-off for the slim and compact design. If you want a non-intrusive, compact, efficient, and reasonably priced unit then this is a very good option.

The only thing preventing this from getting a 5 star review is that I hoped the unit would have lasted up to 3 years. It lasted 1.5 years but to be fair, it has been ON 24/7 that whole time and emptied 1x day in the summers and 2-3x day in winters.

Did not work straight out of the box. Compressor ran but fan would not.Was excited to get it after selecting this one out of six or seven others.Was disappointed when would not work correctly. It's a neat design.Trying again. Have ordered replacement. Will update.UPDATE....Easy process sending the first unit back. Received the replacement in a few days and it is working great. We're impressed. Easy to adjust/program, refrigerator quiet, small size and removes moisture very well. Was concerned that the small size would decrease efficiency. Nope..... Seems to pull same amount of moisture as two larger units we have. Finally.... The manufacturer reached out to us expressing concern over the defective unit. We appreciated that. Would very much recommend.UPDATE ..... upgrading to five stars. The rest of the story is we bought this for our RV. The unit ran for a week + straight on recent trip and worked great. Nice and comfy in the rolling hotel. Get it. You won't regret it. :)

This is a nice looking, simple dehumidifier that does a good job getting moisture out of the air. However, it broke way too soon. I bought it in November, 2019 and used it until March, 2020 (4 months of use) and (due to Covid closure) didn't use it again until fall 2021 (2 months of use). It worked fine until suddenly the power button stopped working. I have to plug and unplug it to turn it on and off. I assume it is only a matter of time before it totally breaks. Although I bought it under 2 years of ago, I used it several times a week for a few hours for a total of 6 months. I am very disappointed!

I dont know how energy efficient this is but im guessing its not so bad. I tried so many other dehumidifiers for my bathroom and kitchen and needed something small and out of the way. Nothing less than a 30 pint humidifier would even bring humidity down by 2 percent. This awesome unit is small and slim and powerfull. Brings humidity down no problem. The down side is the smaller tanks size but its essential to maintain its size. You can hook up continuous drain of you want.*Update 2 years and 3 months later, now having problem where the water level full sensor does not come on and it overflows the water. I doubt the manufacturer will help me resolve the issue. So it now only basically works in continuous drain mode.
