TEC1-12705FX Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier of semiconductor Refrigeration,1PCS TEC1-12705FX (40 * 40)

Is what I ordered and was sent without delay.

All parts for a vintage 2013 NewAir AW-281E are out of stock. Do I toss it for a compressor model? YouTube U. recommended replacing the Peltier semiconductor since the PC board lights were both solid red and green (not flashing). I liked this one because it already had female disconnect terminals. I also purchased the ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste compound and applied it to both sides. As mentioned in prior reviews, the lettered side is the cooling side. Easy fix and works again.

My Wine Enthusiast 24 bottle wine cooler died. I researched on you tube and the internet, and educated myself on the Peltier thermoelectric cooler. Removed andreplaced both upper and lower Peltier Thermoelectric coolers TEC1-12705FX, and it works better than when new. Now maintaining temps at 56 on upper and 45 on lower zone.Remember to put thermoelectric paste on both heat sinks prior to installation, I used the ARCTIC MX-4 Thermal Compound 2019 Edition purchased from Amazon, it did well, recommend getting the larger tube, I used the 4 gram tube, had to apply sparingly on the last surface because I was going to run out.Just a note - there is a TEC1-12705 out there without the FX. In my research, I found that the 12705 was a 50 WATT cooler, Where as the 12705FX is a 60 WATT cooler.I read reports where people replaced the 12705FX with the 12705 and their wine cool wasn't cooling properly. I would be sure to replace like for like in these situations.

I got a Wine Enthusiast 28 bottle cooler that was not working for cheap. An internet search led me to believe the Peltier chip had gone bad. Took the cooler module apart, got the chip number from the old chip, and ordered this one, which is the exact number chip, although probably a different manufacturer. This one already had spade clips on the wires so assembly was easy. Bought some thermal compound, and reassembled the module. I tested it to make sure I had wine cooler, and not a wine warmer after I had assembled the chip in the heat sinks. These can burn out fast if run with out the heat sink. As I said above, the side with writing on it was the cold side. This comes with no documentation, so knowing which side is which is important. Cooler is running great. I highly recommend this, although I wish they would at least include information on which side is which.

purchased this to replace the original and i gotta say, it is super crazy fast at how cool the unit becomes now. great product so i suggest using a 12 volt battery to just tap the leads against to find the cool or hot side and roll with hit. simple and easy to use. thanks alot!

Bought for a 12 volt cooler used thermal paste on heat sync and it works great.

After disassembling the wine cooler I found the Peltier block module (didn't know what a Peltier Module was) had a green part coming out of the side of it. I looked up on YOU TUBE how to fix the wine cooler. Went to Amazon and they had the part with the special glue. Reassembled it works better than new.
