Impressive results!
Worked well and we are measuring 14 amps overall. No blown fuses. Consistent clean power (some lights used to flicker but don’t through this)!

Simple to use
This is a good basic dimmer for incandescent lights. It will do the job, but the triacs seem to fail (often in the full on position). This is especially the case with Dimmer 2. Still, they are cheap enough to keep a spare for emergencies.

Amazing potential
Worked great at the beginning, however one of the channels stopped working after a week of usage. It was defective and was too late to return.

Broke after one show
I used it for only one light show, and when I did my next one it did not work. Luckily I was only using it to control some black lights that I didn’t mind being steady. I’m going to reach out to customer service soon, and if it goes well I will update this review.

Speedy replacement
Received and within, 10 minutes of setting up, the triac for channel 3 shorted, causing channel 3 to remain lit constantly.Requested exchange. Got a speedy replacement! New unit has been working flawlessly for a year.

Unit arrived broken
Unit was not functioning on arrival. Complete return. Do not buy used in case it is returned non functioning unit. It clearly had a product box that was worn.

You would expect a dimmer to last at least as long as the lamps.
My director got a pair of these Wednesday for a performance on Friday in a small volunteer theater. One operated correctly for two hours before a triac blew leaving that channel in a steady "on" state. ONE 500 watt lamp per channel rated >660 watts. You can't use all four channels at the same time with 500 watt lamps. (per the wattage rating) So we had an empty channel. Switched the SINGLE 500 watt instrument to the vacant channel. It lasted about an hour before dying the same way. A light that won't go OFF during a performance is, well, annoying.Warranty replacement was never questioned, but we had to send the unit in -- meaning we will be without the unit for weeks. Show is over by then.I know it's too much to expect that these things last for years and years, but you'd think that they would make it through six shows.Guess you need to buy a bunch of spare dimmers to keep in the light booth with your spare lamps.
