Kelly Coffey-Meyer s 30-Minutes to Fitness Bootcamp gives you two separate 30 minute workouts...and more...on one DVD. These 30 minute workouts are designed to speed up your metabolism and blast away fat while sculpting underlying muscles. Do them on separate days and get the most out of your 30 minutes or combine them for a 60 minute total body assault. 30-Minutes to Fitness Bootcamp makes the most of your 30 minutes with basic athletic drills and strength moves in two minute intervals. Kelly Coffey-Meyer's intensity and energy bring fun to this bootcamp, while still providing a challenging and effective workout. The 30-Minutes to Fitness Bootcamp DVD offers a variety of options with the addition of three more workouts: a strength only premix, a cardio only premix, and a 60 minute premix combining workouts 1 & 2. But that's not all... an additional stretch segment is included to increase flexibility for a healthier body. Suitable for all fitness levels from beginner to advanced.

Great for a quick but effective workout!
This is a great video for anyone (I was going to say beginner, but it's really great for anyone) who knows they need to add strength training to their routine, but doesn't want to spend 3 hours at the gym doing it. I knew I needed to, but wasn't really enthused as I find working with weights to be time consuming and boring. There are multiple 30-minute routines on this DVD so you can change things up, and the 30 minute aspect is super appealing for those (read: me) who want to get a short cardio routine in the same day but have no desire to spend multiple hours of my life each day working out.The most impressive thing this video did was made me really appreciate what strength training can do not just for my appearance but most noticeably my energy level. Even after only a 30-45 minute session (yes, she has a couple of longer routines included), I can literally *feel* the metabolic effects of the routine for hours after I've finished. That kind of feeling is completely non-existent with any cardio work I do, so I know the video is worthwhile and even makes me look forward to doing it (a little bit - I mean, working out is just a necessary evil to me :P).I definitely consider this a worthwhile purchase! :)

Too many push-ups, too little on working with weights
I was expecting this to be a lot more about different moves/techniques with weights; instead, it's a lot of boring repetition using just a few different moves--without a lot of explanation, ahead of time, on instructions/form. Also, I wish I'd have known that there were going to be so many difficult floor exercises that didn't use weights: I gave up after the first workout that had three major sets of pushups that I'm not able to do, because of a physical limitation. Ditto with the forehead-chin-chest exercise that looks like somebody is down on the floor doing "the worm" as a dance move. I'm no stranger to workout videos or to working with dumb bells, but this was very disappointing.

Excellent work out
Excellent work out! I love the challenge. By the end of it I'm sweating. I'm 67 years old so can't do all the exercises (like push ups). I march in place for that section then resume the rest of exercises with weights in the set.

The Best!
Was heavily involved in group fitness classes then moved with my husband for the Army to a small compound in Saudi Arabia. They have a nice gym but no classes. Kelly's DVD's have filled the gap for me and I am ordering every one she has ever made. I like her style, her instructions, and I am getting results. She is not too bubbly and not too stern. Just right!

I am happy with it
I was hesitant to buy the DVD however, however, having used it for a month now, I am happy with it. As I always do with new workouts, I did a dry run without weights and was pleased with the overall movements, repetition of sets, and duration of each set. The first workout is harder than the second one, so it's nice to rotate. I like the scene sets and The music is unintrusive and steady. The two additional member working out with Kelly make a good team. The workout is good for any level. To make the workout harder simply add more weight.

Great kickboxing DVD!
I am VERY picky when it comes to kickboxing workouts; I've done a lot and have never seemed happy with any of them...until now! This kickboxing DVD is great! It's upbeat, and you sweat like crazy! Some of the steps are a little hard to follow (at first), but after you do them for a while, you get better at it. The instructor is great; she really pushes you. There's also a girl who "modifies" the routines if you want to start off a little easier than the rest of them. The ab workout is great too (yes, there's an ab workout!) because she incorporates kickboxing with abs/core, which I never thought about doing. I've noticed you really work every muscle! You have your core, and then of course you work your arms and legs. And you're constantly moving too, which makes for a great workout. The only downside is there are only 2 workout routines, however, there are "premixes" that focus on only arms or only legs, which combine steps from both routines.I would recommend this video to anyone who likes kickboxing. If you're just starting out with kickboxing, it may be a little tough at first, but once you get it (and you will!), it's so much fun! You're constantly moving too, which is what I like to see!Update: It's been a couple weeks working out with this DVD, and I still LOVE it! I don't even care anymore that there are only 2 routines; they're both still fun! And now I've gotten even better at following along too. I would STILL recommend this DVD; it's my favorite kickboxing workout by far!!!

See real body shaping results and build strength
I discovered Kelly's DVD's a few weeks ago and have experienced some really amazing body shaping results over the last 5 weeks, particularly to my upper body and abs. I wanted to get more out of my exercise regime and found that I really needed to address my overall body strength. I have been using this DVD and Kelly's 30 Minutes to Fitness: Muscle Definition DVD which I also rate very highly.Firstly let me say that this workout does what it says - in 30 minutes a day you will see results if you use appropriate size hand weights. So often I have found that some exercise programmes have been disappointing - too much jumping around, over complicated routines, bad music, poor instruction and just plain irritating - I am delighted to say that this workout suffers from none of these issues. Kelly's instruction is motivating and extremely clear. There is a modifier so you always have the option of doing the easier exercise if necessary. This DVD is not for complete beginners although anyone who has exercised previously can start with light weights. What I really love about Kelly's workouts are that they are body shaping because you are building lean muscle so if you are looking for a programme that really delivers in this department, I suggest you check out this programme - I really appreciate that DVD's with just cardio and no weights don't deliver the body-shaping results and are often just a waste of time if that is all you do as part of your exercise regime. The DVD has several pre-mixes included so you get the original 2 x 30 minute programmes plus a number of others making this exceptional value. You may need to invest in some additional heavier hand weights as I did, but this is all the equipment you will need and the heavier weights will really make a difference to the results you see. Kelly reminds you of this in the workouts - if you are not really feeling it - the reason is that your weights are not heavy enough and she is right.I would also add that initially your muscles may ache - don't give up just add an additional stretching DVD to combat this. I really love this DVD because my body is showing the results - all for 30 minutes a day - Excellent.

Clunky
Clunky and cheaply put together. Digital editing is easy now so simply cutting and pasting different parts of an hour routine into different bits does not make new routines, or warrant charging more than other workouts. In some parts this one cuts abruptly out of a warmup to a session already in progress so you are left scrabbling to grab weights to join in the exercise. The moves are fine in themselves but fairly repetitive, and as so many other workouts exist of this calibre for less than half the price I don't think this dvd warrants more than a minimum score. She also refers to getting to your 'sweet spot' which made me vomit in my mouth a little bit.

A no-dread Kickboxing DVD by one of the best fitness instructors in the world
This DVD contains two effective 30 min intermediate -level kickboxing workouts and a kickbox-inspired core bonus (14 min).As usual, Kelly Coffey-Meyer doesn't disappoint. The kickboxing combos are not too simple, which guarantees that the DVD will not become boring quickly. But they are also not too complicated to learn, so I was never left behind staring in confusion at the TV. The music is fun. The workout is not too high impact (which I like; I own far too many high impact routines). To add extra challenge, I wear 0.5 kg wrist weights. As with all her DVDs, Kelly includes premixes using segments of the main workouts - the one is with upper body focus (punching), the other with lower body focus (kicks) , a third combines both workouts for a longer exercise session. If you want to try only one cardio DVD by Kelly Coffey Meyer, I recommend TLC (Train Like A Contender). But if you want to add more from her in your fitness library, Kickboxing is a worthwhile addition. Highly recommended!

Great for Weight bearing exercises
Very easy to follow although being over 65 I use lighter weights than what is suggested. Abdominal exercises are really good and there is a very good mix of weights and other exercises like the abdominal's and warm up exercises.

great work-out!!!
BOTH my 17 year old daughter and I love this work-out! There are 2 30 minute work-outs (1 for lower boday and 1 upper body) with one 5 minute warm-up. Kelly Coffey-Meyer is down to earth and never patronizing -- with an awesome New York accent! The background music is subtle in the best possible way as not to interfere or become boring. The 'easy' option done by Lauren on the right is just right for me especially when doing the push-ups and plank. I found that starting with the 3 lb and my daughter the 5 lb weights was just right for toning as we both want definition rather than muscles. WE love it so much we have ordered (from Amazon) another 2 of her DVDs!!!
