Chooee Teflon Brake Cable,Brake Cables for MTB,Mountain Bike

I got a bike from someone that had wiped out on it. Somehow the rear brake cable had gotten popped out of the frame supports which ended up bending the cable inside the sleeve. Every time the brake was applied, it would not release without manually pulling it apart. I tried to get it straightened out but it was impossible so I ordered these cables. Works like a charm now, and I've got a backup if I ever have a cable issue again. Easy!

bought these when my normal jagwire cables were back ordered. this is a quality cable every bit as good as the jagwires. Will buy again.

The brake cable failed on my adult tricycle. It took me about ten minutes to get the old cable free (the hardest part of the job) and install and trim the new cable to length. Saved me huge hassle factor because I didn't need to transport my tricycle to the dealer for the repair and I saved considerable expense as well.

After tearing apart a fully integrated tri bike and putting it back together, I found out this cable is slightly oversized and will not go through the brake clamping mechanism. It also does not slide freely in a standard cable housing. Wasted several hours on this cable. Do not buy.
