Campbell 1SS-30 5 Micron Sediment Filter

Rope filter was chemical treated and made my well water taste of chemicals. After 20 minutes of running water, my normally tasteless well water STILL tasted of chemicals. Amazon removed my HONEST feedback I left for this company - dishonest company and amazon is also dishonest for not allowing me to post honest feedback! degenerates!

This filter cartridge is 1/4" shorter than described. The specification is 9 3/4" long (which is what the description says this cartridge measures) but it is only 9 1/2" long. It does not seal because it is too short. You might not notice this problem if your filter housing is not transparent. I saw the filter float up, leaving a 1/4" gap at the bottom. I found this odd because it is a Campbell system and this is supposedly a Campbell cartridge.

This was not the filter that arrived. The one we got has a smooth surface, not the wound string appearance shown in the photo. It still works but was a very tight fit.

...not the cheapest but the best. My sweetwater well has the best h20 i have ever had and these filters give me crystal clear, great tasting water. Lasts longer than other filters as well.
