New - Sony PS3 Bluray Drive - 160, 320 GB Slim Models - (KES-450E/ KEM-450EAA...

I purchased the KES450E drive for the PS3 slim (after some confusion as to whether it was interchangeable with the KEM450EAA, my own drive), after a frustrating debacle concerning a dented drive after my computer had fallen on my console.To make a long story short, I ended up very much needed a small cable that connected the drive-feed mechanism to the motherboard, but couldn't find it save for in an entirely new drive. My old one works, I am ecstatic to have this one. However, I am still experiencing some hiccups with feeding discs in. Nothing major, at least in comparison to the complete lack of disc reading I had with my own drive (and in-need-of-replacement, exceedingly rare cord).The discs get sucked in... but stop. Pulling them out by my thumb and letting the feed process resume works perfectly fine though. I bought this drive refurbished so perhaps that is a factor, but it very much beats having to buy an entirely new PS3 slim!

Replaced the disk drive as per instructions from the manufacturer website. It worked for about 20 minutes and now will read everything except ps3 games, and I mean everything blu-ray, DVD, ps1 games. Really bummed as this was what I was trying to fix with the old disk drive.

Advertised as "new" when I opened the package there was excessive scratch marks on the bottom black plastic part of the case, the cables were bent and drive looks to be pieced together or "refurbished". Not a problem for me since it is an interior component, so I installed it and it didn't work at all---problem---. Also website has very limited installation instructions, in fact none for this kind of drive, go check it yourself.I don't like writing reviews... just wrote this as a warning. There are other reviews on other drives from this same company...

PS3 is now working like new after 2 years sitting on a shelf, thanks a ton! Great packaging with installation instruction included. Would recommend anytime!

Produit conforme à ce que j'attendais, ma PS3 slim ne lisait plus les CD/DVD/Jeux après que ma fille ai inséré 4 CD dans le lecteur.Installation plutôt facile grâce aux nombreux tutos sur youtube.

Funziona ed è quello l'importante. L'imballo era integro quindi non ha subito rotture di nessun tipo. Lo consiglio ad altri che lo desiderano.Buono

Ero un po' scettica sull'acquisto di un pezzo usato così delicato ma devo dire che sono molto soddisfatta. La mia ps3 è risorta ed ho smesso di mettere e togliere 10 volte un gioco per riuscire a farlo partire. Funzionano perfettamente anche i dvd e i blu-ray. Ottimo.
