This product works great with everything, brush on both surfaces let them almost dry fuse together and this holds really well, I mean really well.

I bought this product for my leather projects. This is advertised as High strength adhesive for professional builders and Do it yourself ers. It has multi purpose of bonding different materials like formica, plastics, metal, foam rubber, leather, tile, and fabrics. It drew my attention because it could be used for indoor and outdoor applications. I figured after I'm done with my leather projects, I could also use it to mend things like carpeting on porches, patios, my broken wooden dining chair arm and wooden shelves etc. It is relatively fast drying, in my experience the drying time was about 20 minutes. The curing time after the application is not exact as I leave my project to completely cure over night. The next morning, the bond would be strong just like how contact cement should be. They say open time would be up to 5 hours, meaning the top can be off up to 5 hours and the contact cement would still be usable. Somehow I highly doubt this, as having it opened for 10 minutes at a time would effect the consistency in my own experience. The material on the lip of the bottle would tend to especially dry quickly from my experience. To prevent this and also the gumming of the cap to the bottle, I would use a little bit of petroleum jelly like Vaseline to create a barrier between the bottle and the seal cap. Covers up to 200 sq. ft. per gallon. LEECH also claims that this product is not affected by oil or gasoline but I personally did not get a chance to test this claim out. While it is a good general purpose contact cement, for the purpose of leather bonding, it is not the strongest product out there. Although it did a good job of holding the leather pieces together, with enough force I was able to pry apart one leather piece from the other after it has been cemented together and cured. There are other leather contact cement products I've used in the past which had the actual leather tearing before the two separate pieces came apart with enough force when the bond had finished curing. If you are looking for the absolute strongest leather contact cement, you might want to look at other options, for an all purpose contact cement, x30 professional contact cement would get the job done.

Excellent product! Used to be offered in tubes many years ago. Wish it still was.
