The handles screw on with the included Allen key, and they keep your hands safety behind and away from any incoming footballs.Because it’s metal it does get quite heavy after holding it up for a while - if using with kids, better with older ones or teenagers.The mesh is solid - more like a tennis racket mesh than a soft net, which is better as it means the holder is less likely to get hit.This is great for proper football practice, and precision kicks, when there’s no space or access to goalposts.

Handle was slightly too big for the frame. Couldn’t get it in the full way. Was thinking of returning it however after trying to force it in, unable to now take it apart.

This review is for the Football Flick Hand-held Football & Sports Rebounder.My young nephew plays for a football team and is always training on his off days, therefore I was excited to review these training aids by Football Flick.Quite bigger than I anticipated, this rebounder measures at 60x60cm and is enough to protect your entire upper torso from getting hit.The frame is made entirely from metal and is very sturdy, although it can get quite heavy after some time especially if you are fatigued.The netting mesh is very strong and is comparable to tennis wire rather than a soft net, which is better because it withstands strong shots, providing unpredictable rebounds and protects you from being hit.It is quite versatile in its use and can be used to improve your skills as a goal keeper, agility or used as a little trampoline for setting up volley shots.Overall, this rebounder is a great addition to your training kit, provides a lot of fun to training and will aid your child in improving their football skills, therefore I highly recommend it.
