Carhartt Men's 13-inch Rugged Flex Rigby Short

These shorts were made to last. The fabric is heavy-duty without being heavy or stiff. Personally, I like the length, but understand they do extend to or just slightly past the knee so some may not like that.The pockets are functional. My iPhone 8+ fits perfectly into the pocket on the side of the leg (and that's with the Otterbox cover on the phone) which is much safer for the phone...no more broken phone from being smashed in the front or back pocket while working. Occasionally, I will have change fall out of the front pockets when I sit in the car, so there's that.I purchased a pair of these and then purchased an additional four pair once I verified I liked the fit and color of the first pair.They've been washed a few dozen times now and they still come out looking almost new. I find they do look much better if they're ironed (be sure to turn them inside-out if you iron them otherwise the fabric will take on a sort of sheen from the heat of the iron. if they're ironed inside-out there's no sheen at all).

Carhartt has always been one of my go to brands. I've learned over the years that Carhartt produces quality clothing, that is true to size, durable, and comfortable. And as a bigger guy I can usually find the sizes that fit me perfectly!

These shorts appear to be quite durable. They fit comfortably. It's nice that they have a watch pocket. On the other hand, the "secured cell phone pocket" isn't secured. It's deep enough so my flip phone probably would never fall out, but people with big, flat smart phones might have a problem there.The only thing that disappoints me a bit is the lack of cargo pockets, which my other Carhartt shorts have. When doing yard work I like to have a few pockets for my tools -- pruners, a utility knife, a pencil, etc.They're still good shorts. If you don't care about plentiful pockets, you'll like them.

I was looking for some longer shorts that would come down to my knees. I don't particularly like cargo shorts because of all the extra pockets and loops that always seem to get caught on everything and rip the shorts. Carhartt has put these 13" shorts out for the past few years in two color in the men's version. This light brown and a grey colored version. Both have been great and I have worn them to work and to play in. Unfortunately, Carhartt has discontinued the 13" inseam version, so I have purchased all I can find in the 42" waist size in both colors. Many of the other longer shorts available today make me look like a hip hop person or they are pre torn and have holes in them. Not a look I like. Sorry to see these go Carhartt. They have been great!

First off, I really like these shorts. I highly recommend them. They are well-made, durable, and look awesome. But be advised, I would buy one size up from your normal size. I am about 6 feet tall and weigh about 185 pounds. I normally wear a size 34 but I went with a size 36 and after one wash they are fitting me pretty much perfectly.

These shorts don't have them and I love the trimmed lookThe 13-in inseam make sure they cover my bony chicken knees 🦴🦵I am a snug 34 and that size was a little tight so I bought up a size 36 and it fits well with a little assistance from a beltThe tech-pocket on these shorts will hold the biggest cell phones out there, and it's comfortable to move and sit with it in the tech pocket.(No more big-phone bulge coming from the front or back pocket, or bouncing around in bulgey cargo pocket)It also has a small pocket inside the front right pocket for lighters/vape pens. (This feature is missing from my favorite pair of Dickies that are comparative to these shorts)*Notes to manufacturer to assist in making these shorts even better**Make these in more colors, I will buy two of every kind*Add a 2nd tech pocket on the left side, not only for extra storage but so that these shorts would also work for left or right handed people*Add a 2nd small pocket in the left front pocket

Very nice shorts, with the quality that characterize Carhartt.Pants are very confortable, they falls right to the bottom part of your knees.The gray color version of the shorts will give you a very casual.Be aware of the SIZE, I'm bought a 38 but I had to returned because it was too small. I have to re-order a 42 and fit me well. ( I usually use 36-38 jeans.This pants do not stretch so get a size over so you can feel comfy.

Very well made, but the fit is way small. I'm wearing 34's now & the new ones wouldn't fasten around my waist without extreme discomfort

Great fit top of the line shorts

I'm 6'5" it's hard to find shorts that look "modern" if you know what I mean. These are great and I'll be stocking up. Wish they came in more colors.

Always as expected with a Carhartt product. Durability and quality.Enough said.
