great product, as described, forgot to add the extra packaging to hide it. can you add "this comes in original packaging" would be helpful getting close to Christmas

Very handy gadget as it makes soup so quickly. Just chop veg (or whatever) add stockcubes plus water and it is ready between 21 and 28 mins for either smooth or chunky. This is my second one, the first stopped working properly after 4-5 yrs. Would not be without it.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. It looks as though very cheap display units have been used in the manufacture of this item. They are both dim with little contrast making them a lot less clear than in the advertising material. Quite disappointing. I find the weight display almost impossible to read, so much so that I no longer use it. I have now made 4 soups. All of them using the smooth function. 3 of them were moderately thin, the fourth thick. All four burnt to the bottom of the machine, and believe me cleaning the bottom is really difficult when the food has burnt itself to the bottom. I’m starting to think that the cutting device does not stir the liquid well enough thus leaving an untouched sediment on the bottom which burns very easily; as far as the description using the expression “non stick” well that’s just not true. The surface is simply a brushed metal showing no evidence of the usual non stick surface you expect to see.After 32 days and 5 attempts to make soup the machine died. This time you heard it start to heat the liquid and after around a minute it turned itself off. I left it alone because I wasn’t sure what was going on. Perhaps 5 minutes later it beeped and the light came back on. It was I the initial setup mode !!! So, I set it up again and exactly the same thing happened. Speaking to Morphy richards help desk who eventually transferred me to Amazon who the put me on hold while they spoke to Morphy richards and then AO I was told it would be collected for a refund. Total time on the phone 1 hour 3. Minutes….a nightmare.To summarise, a cheap food blender and a real “non stick” saucepan is all you actually need. I will never buy one of these again and certainly do not recommend it for anything other than taking up space in the kitchen.

I got myself this soup maker a couple of years ago and I’ve been so pleased with it that I’ve bought a second one as a gift for a family member. She’s thrilled with it.

I love how quick it is, haven’t used the weight function yet but it will be handy
