I bought this mainly based on reviews.PROS: Hard key to duplicate (never saw a four-sided key before)Bright red to draw attention so you remember to take it off before you try to back into itHeavy steel - nobody is sawing through this bad boyCONS: Hard to duplicate key (better not lose the included keys)Lock tumblers seems a bit cheap, seems like a hammer and screwdriver could take it out pretty easilyI'm happy with my purchase. I purchased this fifth wheel kingpin lock because I know someone who has one and really likes it. When I received mine, it would not go on the kingpin all the way, thus was not able to lock it in place. Upon observation of the lock I found that the top ring was not centered when it was welded during manufacturing process. I filed down the protruding edge, now it fits ok. I’ll have to paint the area that was filed

I like the 4 way keys that it has. Seems that it would be pretty difficult to pick the lock. It does fall some though after installing it and leaves a big enough gap at the top that a pry bar could easily be inserted to try to break it off. 2 lube plates filled that gap though. If it fit a bit more snug up to the pin box then I would give it 5 stars.

No issues great fit the only thing is making copies of the keys is next to impossible they are a four sided key and none of the locksmiths in my area copy this key

We have a 5thwheel and it was a Perfect Fit for a 87 Fireball 5th Wheel.There was maybe 1/2 slack from top to bottom which was good because we have a slide protector on it and made the fit perfect. This appears to fit the standard 5thwheel hitch which is what we have.

Easy to install easy to see and seems like it would be hard to remove without a key. Probably would not make your 5th wheel theft proof, but would slow a thief down

Really liked how heavy it was and steel. However, it would not go all the way up on the king pin, had to take a file to it to get it to go one. Once I removed some metal, went on great!
