I have been looking for a replacement for my Voyager 300 for some time. After a lot of research I decided to give the ferplast 30 a trial. Big roomy carrier perfect for my NFC cats, good quality and super easy/quick to assemble. I know have 3 and got them with a 25% discount, very happy.

Good strong and as stated large , ideal for our 6 kg cat.

Seeing as the first one came smashed to bits, I was a bit dubious as to whether or not these pet carriers were very strong. Fortunately, this one was ok so I must assume it was the handling of the previous one that caused it to break, rather than the workmanship itself that was at fault.The bottom half is a smart burgundy colour and the top is cream and it has a sturdy cream painted wire door which fastens at either side. It was very little trouble to put together, although I did forget to follow the instructions and put the lugs at the front into place before attaching the top to the bottom - simple mistake but one that's easily rectified. You'll soon notice that the top won't fit properly if you don't do this simple step!It's big enough for a Jack Russell to walk into and lie down comfortably and is a good way to keep a puppy safe whilst you do the housework or whilst you're out, so that it doesn't rip the house to shreds!All in all (despite the last one being broken and other reviewers reporting similar) it's a nice, sturdy pet carrier although I do have doubts about the handle, which is attached to the same thickness of plastic as the rest of the lid - no reinforcements around it. If you're going to use it for a particularly heavy pet or use it in the car, I'd recommend putting the carrier where you want it and putting the pet in afterwards if at all possible, just to save the area around the handle from possible breakage. It should be ok for carrying short distances though.

For heavy cat. Needed help on assembly due to being weak/disabled.

We foster cats for a local rescue organisation. We handle a lot of cats and some carriers that we have had donated don't inspire confidence in their ability to contain a nervous cat.We use Ferplast rigid carriers exclusively for our own cats as they are secure and very sturdy. The handle is good and feels like it can manage the heavier cats. The door is fully removable, this is essential for reluctant visitors to the vet. If needed the top can be unclipped to make accessing the cat much easier and less stressful than having to tip the cat out of the carrier.I've always recommended Ferplast Atlas carriers to all of our adopters and to the rescue charity when funds allow to buy new carriers.

This is great for cats. Anyone who has tried to wrestle a cat into a normal front loading cat carrier will know what I mean. It's so much easier to gently lower your cat (gently hold their front legs together) in to it. Nice and spacious too. Ferplast is the best quality too.

Excellent build quality. Quite easy to assemble, only the handle was a faff. Instructions were mostly good. Worth the extra money.

The actual cat carrier is lovely. We also have another almost identical one which we love.However, unfortunately, the assembly of this new cat carrier was made more difficult because the white metal door frame did not fit very well. I do not know if it was due to the plastics at the bottom being slightly out - or whether it was the metal frame which was a slightly different size at the top compared to the bottom.We had to slightly bend the bottom metal frame as it was the only way that the door would actually fit in ( which can’t be right).So - sadly I am disappointed as it should have fitted perfectly but as it didn’t.The frame looks very slightly bent now at the bottom which I am unhappy about.Perhaps another door frame would fit better?

Amei a caixa! Parece bem resistente, é fácil de montar, é espaçosa (minha gata mais velha tem 5,400kg) e parece bem prática por abrir na parte superior. Ainda não levei elas a nenhum lugar, mas a alça parece forte.

Ich habe mir wieder so eine gekauft, weil sehr gut verarbeitet ist und einfach für Tier zum transportieren.
