Good level of chlorine generation
This product keeps my 7x4m pool nice and clear, working alongside my intex pump. You can visibly see the chlorine being generated and check using a chlorine test kit to be sure - it keeps my chlorine levels in the normal range and I don’t seem to even need it in every day… It comes with a euro plug but you can just cut that off to wire into your outdoor junction box or heat pump. The self clean works well to save having to deal with-scale the plates, and is easy to programme. As others have mentioned, expect it to last only the life of the warranty, even if you bring it in during the winter. I have had 3 of these, and they either come up with high/ low salt warnings or don’t power on.. that said they are much cheaper than professional ones, which need new plates every few years anyhow.

Will break down after a year or so.
This will work for just about a year and then will start to cause high/low salt errors. The parts are impossible to source in the the UK. I’ve had 2 of these and both are now useless.
