DasMarine Heavy Duty 4 Steps Boat Marine Sport/Diver Ladder 316 Stainless Steel Dual Vertical Telescoping Tube with 2.75" Transom Mounting Extension Shim (4 Step Ladder)

Have been unable to mount onto boat because the bolts sent are at least 2 inches to short to go through a standard transum and it is designed where the standard bolts will not work because bolt heads have to be very very thin to allow steps to slid in to bracket. Can not find any bolts on internet or hardware store that have thin enough bolt heads to work. I will have to buy standard bolts and try to find a machine shop to trim bolt heads to at least 1/2 thickness. Very dissatisfied with this product and am not only out cost of bolts but the cost to have bolts machined. No problem with seller just manufacturer

The black plastic tread slip off when the swimmer put horizontal pressure onto the rung. It slips off sideways and into the water never to be seen again. I haven't figure out a fix yet. Either an epoxy or a wrapping of some duct tape around them to keep them from sliding off. I will contact this contact this company to see if they will replace the piece but I don't expect them too. Besides that the ladder works well and the design is good. I would order it again.

I purchased this item for my vessel, I live in South Florida and keep my vessel in salt water, used it only once and a week later I went to use it again and it had rust all over.
