excellent for tempering chocolate!
Easy to use. Accurate thermometer ( you can check it against the indoor temperature of your room). It quickly and accurately reads temperature change. The built in spoon rest is great. Cleaning is a snap as it slides apart with ease. You do have to read directions to change it to Farenheit, very easy and straightforward. I will buy 2 more for my daughters to use.

poor design
I used this when melting Chocolate , it ok as a therometer. But when I would use it as a spatula the battery cover would pop off and the battery would go in the chocolate, not good poor design.

Not so ergonomic
I might be a little picky but this just didn't fit right in my hand. I didn't pay too much attention to the thermometer as I tested it.

Can't calibrate it
In the trash. I can't calibrate it, and I don't want a product where I have to remember how many degrees to add to the reading. I bought it because it is a Mastrad brand. I love their spatula's, but this is obviously a from a manufacturer whom they are letting use their name.

gift item
A gift so I have no information on it.

Not worth it. Just buy a regular thermometer.
This product was really difficult to stir with. The spatula part didn’t stay steady when you stirred, making the fact of it having a spatula pointless. The button to turn on the thermometer is on the end, so if you bump it while you are stirring, it turns off.I just overall do not recommend this exact thermometer. Look elsewhere.

I wish I could have kept it but it didn’t work out
I like it but there was no way to calibrate the thermometer.
