DIY 5D Diamond Painting by Numbers Kits, Rooster Sunflower, Chicken Flower, Full Drill Rhinestones Paint with Diamonds Crystal Diamond Art (Chicken)

This was my first diamond painting. It took me about 3 days working a few hours each day to complete.First, the good:It came on a nice canvas.There were no rivers (no air bubbles)It came out really niceThere were more than enough drills and very few bad ones.It came with little baggies for your excess drillsThe symbols on the canvas were numbered 1-30, which made it very easy to sort these. The baggies did have dmc numbers on them.Now the not so good:They canvas was rolled up, but there was nothing to protect the canvas's structure during shipping, so it arrived creased. A foam roller would have protected it's structural integrity.The pack only included a single-placing drill pen and this very tiny square of low quality pink wax that wears off after only an hour.The symbols on the painting are not very clear, sometimes very light and hard to discern, even with a light pad and a magnifying glass. I had both and needed both.In addition to being hard to read, some of the symbols with the colors that we're closer together in shade were hard to tell apart. Particularly, the blue shades.I can't talk to the stickiness of the canvas, because this is only my first one, but it seemed like this was not as sticky as it sould be.The green drill boat it came with had very poorly defined ridges making settling the beads very difficult.Overall, I am very happy with how this came out. The kit was exactly as described. Most of the not so good stuff was just preference...they lost a star for the very hard to read symbols and for the canvas arriving smushed. The kit, overall is worth buying and I was really happy that there weren't any air bubbles.My advice: do not do this project without also buying a kit that includes multiplacers. At least a 4-placer, or this will take you a thousand hours to complete. If you do get multiplacers, youll also need extra wax (or some blu-tack), because the tiny square of wax is only enough for the a single placer and maybe a 4-placer. You will also want a few large drill boats with well defined ridges. Those green boats really do suck, but are universal, it seems. You will also NEED a light pad.But for the price, this kit is very much worth it. I purchased a cheap starter kit on Amazon alongside this kit and it included everything I needed to deal with the minor issues I had. I included a picture of the final product. I was very happy.

I thought I ordered a paint by numbers canvas about a rooster. I loved the rooster's colors and ordered the kit. Well it is not what I expected. It is beads that you put on a canvas. I found and looked at some videos that on the process and they said I should expect several items that did not come with my kit. Such as a scraper, a rubber brand to place on the bead holder ( I expect this was for comfort) and a tweezer. I would have appreciated instructions on how to deal with the beads, or just instructions on going to a video for instructions, I found this by accident. It might be a wonderful project. Just not what I wanted.

Image was not precise on the mat. The rooster has no beak, no comb, no distinct legs and the feathers don’t look like feathers, just a mush mash of colors with no defined image being portrayed. I have done at least 20 diamond paintings and have to throw away 4 or 5 because when a detailed image is portrayed in a small mat, you lose much of the definition of the design as this one does. I’m also disappointed that the DNC colors are not given so I can combine these beads with others in my stash since I won’t be using them.

Great colors and pretty item for pattern, BUT they didn’t send me the right colors for some of the diamonds. It is supposed to have some brown in it for outlining the dog, and the kit was missing that number diamond bag. Wish I would’ve opened it earlier to make the return window, but it was a gift for someone else so I missed the return. Now I have a picture that won’t be complete since missing colors. 😩

I ran out of one color and very close to running out of two other colors. I have done many kits and this is the first time I have ever run out of beads. I was able to substitute so no problem. The tones in this kit are more olive green rather than a Christmas green but it looks good when done.

Beautiful picture. Bought this for my daughter and she is in the process of working on it and she loves it. Sticky canvas picture so gems stay where you put them.

This kit was fun and I like the colors. Unfortunately, the image/canvas is not large enough so that the colors blend like they appear to in the product image. I care more about the process than the final product though, so it was still fun.

I absolutely loved doing this!!!! It was easy and so much fun! I would say for the ones that like to put puzzles together, this would be a nice change! It turned out beautiful! So pretty that I’m going to frame it.

Too many colors, picture looks abstract when finished. Not detailed correctly as legs are hard to see.Not distinctive, its just not a clear picture when it is all completed.Wouldn't purchase again.
