A really well made, quality product, but the cable is too inflexible
Having just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S9+ (which is my first USB-C device) it became apparent just how many Micro USB leads I had in different places, not only in various rooms around the house but also at work etc.! I will inevitably end up buying a few different cables from different manufacturers until I find a brand that I really like and can trust that it won't damage my device etc.I quickly came across Syncwire's 1m USB Type C offering which is rated highly by a large number of people which is normally a good sign.I decided to try one out and have been very impressed in some respects. Build quality-wise this is an impressive cable. The cable arrived in a small cardboard box coiled up around a plastic cable tidy. It's a nice touch and haven't seen that before. I'm not sure if I'll use it much as most of my cables are left dangling from devices or chargers but it may be useful when going travelling or keeping one in your laptop bag etc.The plugs on each end feel well made and have metal casings opposed to plastic which is a nice touch and there's less chance of them falling apart. They are also a snug fit in both the USB-A port and the USB Type C port and make contact without too much force or needing any wiggling. The cable also fast charges fine when connected to the Samsung charger that came with my phone. The cable is incredibly thick, certainly compared to the Samsung cable that came with my S9+. It could also be considered a tangle free solution as there is simply no way you can tangle this cable! Unfortunately, this is where the cable doesn't work for me because it really is too thick and too inflexible. I find I need to put my phone down on the table at a certain angle so that the cable isn't straining the port on the charger or phone. It's not something I normally even think about when plugging my phone into charge but now I am with this cable! The cable works perfectly and cannot be faulted for its build quality, but (and I can't believe I'm saying this!) the cable is too heavy duty and robust for me to use it as my go-to wire.

I'm happy to say that I have had a purely positive ...
I took my time to write this as usually tech difficulties take a while to appear with hardware products over use. I'm happy to say that I have had a purely positive experience with Syncwire and their products being from day one of having them that the cable alone stands out above all others I have used. The tough wrap on the wire leaves me with a confidence in its construction to be durable as advertised, and the means to which the cable stays into the shape of which it is bent into is also a plus for phone users and more as no running cable means no pull on the USB ports and plugs. This leads me onto the construction of the actual plug itself. The plug has been the sturdiest I have ever had the pleasure of using. From using them primarily to charge multiple devices such as phones and tablets, the use of using the aforementioned phones and tablets while charging has been easy with the plug holding well without flexing or bending out of shape inside the device. Charging at angles, in holders & stands, phone face down or on its side (due to the holders/stands) the cable has kept its shape and refused to flex under stress. 5* construction.Under performance, the cable too has exceeded expectations. Both charging and data transfer have been fluid and flawless as the syncwire cables (above the standard charging cables that came with the devices) have been efficient and kept up with the default factory cables. I'm even noticing less heating while charging. Data transfer has been speedy with non existent issues or faults in the heavy data transfer I do from laptop to device, again with little to no heating as I would get with the factory cables from the device manufacturer.I am very impressed and have already out in an order for micro USB versions and 4-port wall plug, I am very confident with my purchase.Side Note: Syncwire contacted myself through amazon 2-3 days after purchase to verify my satisfaction with the 2 Type-C's I purchased.. Their aftersales team seem to be very dedicated to customer satisfaction although I did prefer time before I could get a good use from the product. And yet, I feel confident IN THE COMPANY that their investment back into me as a consumer that I am secure in my Syncwire Purchase by means of warranty & replacement if necessary.I cannot give any higher appraisal. 5*, 10/10, Round of Applause. I do hope to invest into their future products.

Amazing how a cable can make a difference
I was trying to edit some prgramming on my Android through XDA & it just kept throwing up errors all the time. In the end I spotted this & although not cheap for a single cable it did the trick. Once I used this to connect to my PC the programming went through first time. What else can I say, it just works!
