What is not to like about this sauce maker and grain mill
Like most people I did a lot of review searching on different sauce maker brands before I decided on this one. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, I went through three 5-gallon buckets of tomatoes in a flash. The only problem I had was that half the way through I had to stop and clean out the screen, which was getting clogged a quick screen scrub and I was back in business. I got the Model 250 with all the accessories plus the motor. I liked the sauce maker so much and I already had the motor, so I also purchased the VKP1024 grain mill which also works awesome. Thanks, VKP for making great time saving and easy to use products.

Good quality for price
I used a Squeezo for years growing up, but don’t make the same quantity for the two of us. Worked just fine for applesauce although not the high quality of the Swueezo brand. Definitely good value for the price.

Feeling like a nona!
I have attempted to make homemade spaghetti sauce before and always struggled with processing the tomato with other cheaper mills. Posted on one of the food groups for a recommendation and they suggested this. Oh my word, so much easier!!!! We had zero trouble on our first attempt processing our garden tomatoes. We did not attempt to hook up the motor yet, since we only had enough for one pot of sauce to do. I am very glad though that we purchased the motor because if we progress to having a "sauce" day where we go at it for the entire day the motor will save me. It was easy to set up for my hubby and easy enough to clean. There are a few plastic pieces though so I bumped the star rating down in the sturdiness category. The spiral-shaped portion that drives the mechanism is plastic. With my Ankersrum mixer it is a heavy duty metal and there is just no comparison at all, but of course no comparison price wise as well. Overall, we are now content that we have a solid working unit that will last for a long time and plan on heading down to the farmers market and buying tomatoes in bulk for a sauce day. Very glad I purchased this unit and also look forward to playing with the accessory package at a later date.

I read the manual and set it up using the spiral and screen (there were 2 options) recommended for pomegranates
Junk! A friend had one and it made processing a breeze so I purchase one for myself (I later found out hers was a different brand). I read the manual and set it up using the spiral and screen (there were 2 options) recommended for pomegranates. I manually cranked it for about 5 minutes then switched to the motor. The motor wobbled a bit, but it seemed to be doing the job. Within a few minutes, the sound of the motor changed & the screen, spiral & pomegranate seeds shot off the main base & ALL OVER my kitchen! I cleaned all the pieces and reassembled it to try again & again with the different screen option but still the same results. After the third time, the motor stopped working, my kitchen was a nightmare & I had wasted 5 hours trying to make this work.I know Amazon stands behind their sales so although frustrated, I cleaned everything up & started to package it to return. Printed in the top of the box it asked that you call before returning, "because we want you to be happy with your product" - so I called & explained. I was told they were not giving me a refund because I didn't buy it from them - I never asked for a refund (I still had a tree of pomegranates to process and REALLLLLY wanted this to work). I said I was calling because the box said to. I was told it shouldn't be used with pomegranates, I said the manual states otherwise (I think this is correct - it can't process pomegranates so the pressure got to be too much & shot the pieces every). Next I was told it was because there was no moisture & I was forcing the pomegranate seeds through - again, not the case, I let the pomegranate seeds gravity feed & didn't push them at all. Pomegranates are juice and seed with very little flesh - there was a steady stream of juice going into the catch bowl and waste bowl so I doubt moisture was the issue. The connection was horrible from the beginning so when the call disconnected, I didn't call back. I explained to Amazon what had happened and it is now boxed and ready for pick up and a full refund. So happy Amazon is willing to step in when the manufacturer fails!

HE LIKES IT CAUSE IT HAS A MOTOR THAT GRINDS THE TOMAT UP OR HE CAN TAKE MOTOR OFF AND CRANK IT MANUALY. IT IS JUST GREAT AND HAS ALL KINDS OF ATTACHMENTS. HIGHLY RECOMEND.

Big time saver
I have owned a Victorio Strainer Juicer for over 45 years. I decided to upgrade to this one with a motor to assist me in my old age. I am very happy with this purchase. If you bottle tomatoes juice, make spaghetti sauce, salsa, or paste, this Victorio Strainer Juicer is such a time saver. I would not be without one!! The motor is a bonus but not neccessary for a great outcome. If cost is a factor hand turned units cost much less.I ALWAYS cook tomatoes/apples before I put them through the Juicer because is take so much stress off my arms (on my previous manual model) and the motor with this new machine. If I want thick sauce, I put my tomatoes/apples through a Steam Juicer unit first. I collect and bottle the clear juice, then put the rest of the tomatoes/apples/fruit through this Victorio Strainer Juicer. The fruit is much thicker with liquid removed and I don't have to simmer for hours to get a thicker sauce. The clear tomato juice is great flavour in soups and apple and other fruit juices very tasty.A Steam Juicer and a Victorio Strainer Juicer are lifetime investments. Take care of them, they will last for years to come.

I love the victorio food strainer
I love this thing! There’s nothing I hate more then canning tomatoes / sauce with seeds as they make the sauce bitter. The victorio food strainer removes both skin and seeds giving you a sweeter tomato sauce. I really love running apples through this and making apple sauce. Again it removes skin and seeds cutting prep time in half. My only complaint is I can’t find the motor anywhere here in the UK including on Amazon.
