Easy to install and replace light bulbs

Easy and straight forward replacement. Works great!

These lamps do not last more than 9 months. The manufactures instruction indicate the should cycle with the blower fan. Now after replacing 5 lamps, they say it should run all the time, with out cycling. They now refuse to honor the warranty. The warranty is supposed to be 2 years.

Works great, easy to replace, you could actually smell the cleaness of the air.

I replaced the replacement photocell bulb and the replacement was perfect. The previous bulb had not been changed in five years and that was a mistake. These bulbs lose a lot of efficiency after two years and the one I replaced was cracked because I waited too long. It stayed on continuously. I strongly suggest not to go beyond two years of it being on continuously.

The bulbs works great but unfortunately mine lasted less than one year. At this price I would expect the bulb to last longer than 11 months!

I noticed a musty smell when the Phi Cell started functioning, this lasted only for a few hours. I've used the Guardian Air Phi Cell many years. The last one lasted around 3-4 years. It claims to reduce mold and oxidize bacteria. The only way to really substantiate that claim is to run the before and after test. I had inside air tests done before, indicating particulate levels, especially mold was in the high levels, that's why I installed the the Phi Cell. The only way to verify it really does the job, is to run a test for these particulates again and compare. Problem is they don't run another test to see if these high levels are lowered, you just have to take their word that it really works.

I've had 2 of these units for about 5 yrs now. I love them. They help your house smell as if a rainstorm just cleared the air. I have dogs & parrots but no one would know because of these ionizers. I also have allergies and these things help clear out the pollens and dust.Just bought these replacement bulbs. They would be very simple for DIY.
