It's funny...we've had these plates for about a month now and I still don't like to use them because they feel like the "special plates" that's reserved for company. They are GORGEOUS in person and so far they've held up really well, so I'd give them six stars if I could at the price.The design on these plates is slightly raised and that worried me, but I've scrubbed a few in the sink and they come away looking good as new. They've also been thru the dishwasher at least a dozen times and there's no chips, crack or anything like that, so I have a feeling that they'll last a long time. We haven't dropped one yet so I'm not sure if they're really shatter-proof as stated (I won't eat a sandwich off them...so I'm definitely not going to drop one on purpose!). But so far all is well.In terms of size, I think they're slightly larger than traditional dinner plates, but it's tough to tell since they're squared off. There is a round area in the center of the plate though so they stack well and are easy to hold onto (if you like walking around when you eat dinner, maybe?!?). All that said, I'm thrilled with this purchase and this will be our brand several years into the future. I have already ordered a 2nd set so we can phase out our older plates.

I purchased these Corelle Square plates from Amazon after seeing them in a local store. I didn't want to buy the whole set of dishes, so I was glad to find just the dinner plates for sale. The best part is that it came in a set of 6. If I had to buy the set of dishes, I would have only gotten 4 dinner plates and a bunch of dishes I would not use often (lunch plates, mugs, etc.). My first impression of these plates out of the box is that they are beautiful! I love the design! We put them through a wash in the dishwasher and they came out just as perfect as they went in. When using them for the first time for dinner, I was impressed by their size. They are nice and big! These plates are perfect. They are beautiful, hold up in the dishwasher, sturdy, and large enough for the biggest appetites! I definitely recommend these dinner plates to you if you're searching for new dinnerware!

Since I've gotten older, I replaced all my heavier stoneware plates with the lighter weight Corelle ones. I already have a four piece set of Corelle round plates but wanted to use the square ones for a change. I want to point out that these square plates are slightly heavier than the round ones I have. This may be due to the corners not being "rounded" off so the additional inch or so in size on each corner may also contribute to the weight. Because of this size/shape, they also hold a little more food than the round ones. But I am happy with the purchase and expect these plates to outlive me.

I've had Corelle plates for decades. I buy another set every 10 years or so. These are the first square ones I've bought, so I don't have any point of reference for square plates, but they do not stack evenly. I noticed, like other reviewers, that some of the edges are wavy. I have no idea if this is normal for square plates, but it's definitely not normal for round ones. Also, the logo on these are different than the logos on my round Corelle. That could be because they were updated, but it seemed odd.They seem like authentic Corelle glass, they are lightweight and beautifully printed, so even if they are factory seconds, I'm pleased with them, and would buy them again. I don't need to, I bought 2 sets to begin with:).

We have been looking for a set of square plates plates that are 10 inch or larger for a while now. Most of the square plates that are available range between 8 and 9 and 1/4 inches in diameter. We were glad to find a set of square plates that were 10 and 1/4 in. Also it was advantageous that these are made by Corelle. Making them very durable, heat resistant and microwaveble. We were able to get a set of 6 for just over $27. These fit our needs perfectly while also looking great on the table. I would definitely recommend these plates. Now a year later we've gotten a second set of 6 plates. This time we were able to get them on Amazon for just $23.00.

So pleased and happy with these plates. We had purchased this set previously at an outlet and I had wished that I had purchased two sets but didn't. When I saw these plates I was thrilled and they are a great size. They are larger than the round ones that I have. Very pleased. Light weight, easy to clean and normally very durable. Just don't drop one against ceramic tile, it will shatter into a 100 pieces. Speaking from experience. 🙂

I sold heavy pottery to buy these...love the style and pattern! I am so happy with the weight and storage space required of these compared to my former pottery. I am also very pleased that Amazon sells these as 6 pieces, not just place settings as it allowed me to buy just what I wanted and needed to get 12 pieces for a reasonable price. Th dinner plates are large; we are eating smaller meals, we do use the luncheon size plates more than these size plate, they are a generous size. I would buy these dishes again!

If you stack these plates on top of one another it's obvious they're all slightly warped. But, you don't notice while looking at any one plate. That aside, these things are so durable, well-sized, and fancy that I fully intend on owning them for a few decades.
