Charging doesn't work but good with ordinary batteries
The charging doesn't work, even after adding rechargeable batteries (not included). However they are incredibly useful because both parts are battery powered so you can move them around easily (take camping, or put one next to napping baby) and they don't have to stay plugged in. Range is good and sound is clear enough to be useful.

Great device
Excellent device, however volume is slightly lower than older model. Adaptor plug should have been included.

A simple to use audio baby monitor with a built-in night-light
The babymoov range of products is aimed at babies and very young children with a number of related items currently available in their Amazon store. This compact baby monitor and night-light works well and offers a cost-effective audio listening device with a handy light included. The monitor uses digital technology which offers a more secure and private connection between the two units – so no-one can eavesdrop – and the sound is much clearer than that offered by the older analogue products. Both units can work using batteries or the low-voltage USB power cable, using your own power unit, and should work up to a 500 metre distance in most locations. Currently around sixty pounds from Amazon this is a decent monitor – but some other brands offer monitors with video, starting at around this price if that is a feature you may need. This compact Babymoov audio-only monitor is nicely made and works well and should give you peace of mind at a reasonable price and is supplied in eco-friendly packaging.

Good portable monitor. Rubbish instructions
Baby monitor is very compact and runs off a standard 5 volt mobile phone charger which makes it good for travelling, visiting friends and family etc as you don't have to pack.muktiple power sources. Sound is ok and does the job, range is absolutely fine for our purposes in a standard family home. As stated the compact size is it's main appeal. only real complaint is with the instructions. It's not that they are chinglish but they seem a bit vague and mixed up. Some areas of the setup manual in refer to these as a camera which they most certainly are not which makes you wonder are you reading the correct information for the device you're using. This is particularly relevant because you can also run these units off 3 aaa batteries but it says nothing in the instructions that you cant use the power source to recharge the batteries, it's so vague and ambiguous I can imagine people putting normal non rechargeable batteies in along with the mains power source. if non rechargeable batteries are trying to be charged you're looking at a very hot unit very quickly and you don't want that anywhere near your baby! Surmise s good compact unit but let down by lack of instructions.

Too quiet, looks cheap but great for camping or the car
I thought these were going to be really good considering the price of them. However, they are pretty average. Apart from the radio wave transmitting inhibitor or whatever it is it really does not stand out. If you are concerned about radio waves affecting your childs brain development then these are certainly for you.I found the baby monitor very quiet. The volume in full is not at all that loud. When using it whilst doing household chores for example the volume is not loud enough. If all it is for is using it whilst you sleep then it's fine. The monitor has a useful belt clip, however this has to be loosened in order to remove the batteries.Talking about the batteries I must say they do have brilliant energy efficiency. I had the receiver on for four whole days using rechargeable batteries, before I got the chirps indicating low battery. In the middle of the night. So to avoid being unnecessarily woken, use the power source overnight.Talking about that I really cannot understand why it does not come with plugs. They say to reduce plastic but I am unconvinced. However, I love the fact they are powered by USB. So handy. It also enables them to be powered by a power bank or the cars power sockets. Also, both receiver and transmitter can be powered by battery. Most baby monitors I have used only the parent unit is. The baby unit tends to be traditional three pin plug in, which is of course restrictive. These baby monitors are great for camping or keeping in the car for when the baby asleep whilst in their car seat on the drive outside your homewithout waking them up when you arrive home. A situation most parents have found themselves in.In terms of build quality I am unimpressed. They feel and look cheap. They do work well. The vox system does as it should. No issues. The transition range is perfectly acceptable for most average British households.
