Works well in a 2013 Lil Tex
Product came packaged well. The screws included do not fit my 2013 Traeger Model: BBQ07C (Costco Specific Lil' Tex). Luckily the factory installed self tapping screws that held down my original fire pot were still serviceable. If in doubt order yourself some new screws, or hit the local hardware store and pick 4 up. The screw designed to secure the hot rod heating element fit well. The steel is comparable to the thickness of the factory fire pot and appeared to be assembled well enough to not warrant any concern. The bung for the hot rod is off-centered unlike the factory unit, but this did not impede installation, nor affect the function of either the fire pot, nor the heating element. The bung for the hot rod did have a slightly larger inner diameter which caused the hot rod to appear crooked once inserted and secured. This also doesn't appear to affect performance or function. The top flange is visibly smaller than the original fire pot, but covers the auger tunnel opening without issue. The holes in the new unit aligned perfectly with the existing holes. The install went quite smooth. I removed the 4 screws and removed the bottom panel under the hopper (be sure to unplug while performing this work. I cut the zip ties to help facilitate removal of the fire pot due to the hot rod cable needing to be extended to pull the original fire pot. After all of the fasteners were removed I rotated the original fire pot counter clock wise about 45 degrees to extract it. I loosened the hot rod retaining screw and slid the hot rod out. I then used 120 grit sand paper to clean up the hot rod just a little, nothing major just a little cleaning. I then inserted the hot rod into the new fire pot ensuring it only protruded past the inner tube by about 1/8-1/4 inch as recommended by Traeger and tightened down the retaining screw. I then installed the new fire pot in the reverse procedure as I had removed it and tightened down the 4 retaining screws. I then installed new zip ties under the hopper to keep the wires from rubbing on the blower fan, and reinstalled the bottom plate. after that I started the unit up as I normally would and let it run for 45 minutes on high similar to the initial break in burn. The new pot worked without any issues, and was easy to install. I will keep an eye on the pot and update this review if I run into any hitches. As of right now I would recommend this product to others who need to replace a worn out or corroded fire pot without breaking the bank.

When it says "Universal" that means it comes with no hardware that fits Traeger!
I was excited to get this since the company my brother used to replace some parts on his pit went out of business. I was looking for quality stainless steel components. I bought into the reviews and ordered this pot. The good news is, it fit snug, looks really good, but the hardware that came with it did not even remotely come close to fitting. Then there's the issue on the collar to hold the hot rod. Doesn't come with one. What you do get is a quality pot you'll have to look for the rest of the parts to get to work. I used my Traeger 3-4 times a week and I'll come back and post an updated review.Just be aware, what you get is in their picture, but you'll need more to get it to work!

Great replacement. Need your own hardware
This was a great 1 piece formed pot with a welded snout. Not sure why it is so long considering the original was so short. Anyway, I had to find my own screws for this since the ones provided don't work. These came with metric, socket cap button screws. Mine uses 1/2 inch #6 self tappers from the factory. The one they supplied to secure the igniter is too small for the threaded hole. This was a big irritation. They made the part, they drilled and tapped the hole and then provide a screw that doesn't fit. Sucks. Because of this 4 stars. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. Easy install. Once top 4 screws are removed, you lift up a bit then you rotate it away from you to clear the auger and the igniter then it lifts out. My grill heats up so much faster now.

Good replacement for a burned out Traeger fire pot
A good replacement item the OEM Traeger fire pot. The igniter stem was a bit off-center, but it still fit and works fine. As other reviewers have noted, the screws that come with it don't fit the Traeger, so be sure to hang on to the screws from your old fire pot. YouTube has plenty of videos to help you with disassembly and assembly. Some show the grill being placed up on end, with the hopper toward the sky so you can access the underside. For me, I found a video that shows the removal of the hopper so you can access the auger/chamber with the grill standing upright - I recommend this method.

Traeger burn cup rusted out, runs HOT
Made of Stainless steel. Should outlast the rest of the Traeger. Was a drop in fit for my 2007 Traeger. The only difficult part was getting the original old rusted out Traeger cup separated from the igniter. Had to carefully file the tip of the igniter to remove the scale so that it would slide out.It was hard to diagnose the problem. The old burn cup was rusted out (hole big enough for my thumb) on the side facing the front of the Traeger. Difficult to see unless you stick your head inside and look back with a flashlight. Symptoms were loss of heat control. Always running HOT because it was pulling in too much O2. Hope his helps.BOB - San Diego

Hardware sent with burn pot didn't fit.
Disappointed. Before changing out my bad igniter rod and burn pot, I decided to keep my original hardware (screws, washers, etc...). Glad I did. The hardware that came with the so called stainless steel pot didn't fit the product it came with nor my Traeger. The guide where the heating element fits has a tap to tighten down the heating element rod. Well the screw that came with the burn pot was TOO SMALL. Luckily I found another screw that happens to fit. Same with the 4 screws that came with the burn pot. First they are not stainless steel as the picture would show. They are black painted screws that were too big to screw into the existing holes. If I didn't retain my original hardware, I either would have had to drill bigger holes (no, no), or be off to the hardware store. Lesson learned. I will not purchase from this brand again if they can't take the time to ship screws that fit their own product.

Probably never again.
Rebuilt my buddy's Traeger and the old fire pot was rusted out. Measurements are fairly accurate but on the one I got the tube for the firing rod was not center like the original and very far to the right. Seemed to fire ok but I would say not exsepible. I can see issues and having to replace it for my friend in my future. Had it been centered and had some kind of quality check done would of got a 5 star. Not made bad but assembled wrong and not to standards.
