Be careful when installing this. The hardware that comes with it will do the job but if you over tighten the nuts on the back side of the emblem it will strip the holes and then your emblem won’t have anyway to be mounted other than the double sided tape and that stuff isn’t strong enough to hold the emblem alone.

Great high quality item. Made of metal with a nice powder coat finish. This item does replace the entire stock emblem, so you will have to take the grill out to install. At first I was going to send it back because I didn't want to take the grill apart, but after seeing how nice it looked all blacked out with no chrome boarder I decided to tackle it. Anyone with basic mechanical knowledge should be be able to to it. I actually prefer this one over the factory chevy one at a fraction of the cost.

Love it. I took the grill off for headlight replacement so install was very easy. I did Loctite the threads in the back of the emblem. Looks great on my 2015 Silverado LT.

You do have to remove grille to bolt on. Took maybe 30-45 minutes start to finish. Looks great!!!

The fitment is great but the paint on the bowtie is garbage. The cut lines in the metal are sharp and need to be sanded down. If you want to sand off the crappy paint, sand down the sharp edges and want to powder coat the bowtie then this is the product for you. I did the all of the prep to get this bowtie powder coated. I wasn't planning on doing this prep when I first purchased it but the quality out of the packaging changed my mind. So if you want to customize this piece than I recommend you purchase it for the fitment and since it metal and not plastic.

Love the look of the black bow tie. The back one was no problem and looks GREAT! The front one was missing the studs so I could not put it on.

Directions included with the item had no way of working like it said it would. After looking on the Internet I found two ways of making it work. One was taking entire grill and front body molding off, not doing this on a new truck. Other way is drilling out the gold plastic insert then seeing the clips from the outside of the grill. I used double sided tape to attach since I could not get to the back side of the grill.
