The quality of these disks really surprised me. the disks are not all absolutely identical in size, they have slight variations though was undetectable until I created a frame to keep the disk steady so I didn't have to calibrate for center over and over again. The thickness are pretty uniform which was the most important to me along with being sanded smooth.I had a project where I was using my laser engraver to engrave images into the side of the wooden disk as an event token. It is taking the engraving nicely, has a nice weight in the hand. Perfect for checkers or game pieces as well. Lots of applications this could be used for.Will definitely buy again and recommend to my crafting friends.Consistancy of Product:We've ordered our second round of 500 wooden disks. This is a consistent product that our laser engraver loves to burn. The only slight variation is in the width of the disk, from one bag to the next the width can be off 2mm which isn't a big deal. I've made two templates so when I get a bag that is the slightly larger I change it out to the larger one. Thank you for the quality sanding and shaping you do on this disk.I finished using my third order of 600 disks. Still a great consistant product.4th order of 600 ... i may need to ask when i hit 10 bags do they throw one in for free lol

Absolutely wonderful product!I needed to exchange gifts with a few hundred people as a part of an yearly tradition and as a matter of fact, these coins made my job easier.Flat Coins, Round edges , Super smooth finish does not make the base coat a prerequisite!If you wish to use Sharpies, it's highly likely they will bleed, so Acrylic paint is highly recommended.1.5 inches – just as the description says.When you order for 200 coins, they will arrive in 2 separate bags of 100 coins each bag.Do not forget to count them. (just to be sure)I used a magnet tape behind them and turn them into magnets Which makes it an excellent gift/souvenir.

Nice quality. Sanded good, round, with nice edge. I use these in a 40 piece jig for laser engraving Christ centered reminders. They all fit and center in my jig good enough to print within 1/8 inch from the edge. I like this brand, second purchase. Same quality as when I purchased 250 a few weeks ago.

I got the 200 pack and am disappointed to find many edges are fraying. I cannot use them for what I intended them in this condition so I'll have to figure out something else. An additional note, for any of you thinking about drawing on them, alcohol markers bleed clear through to the other side come out very dark, and do not blend at all. I had some success with Micron markers.

Okay, well here goes. I ordered 100 of these, and they were great. I didn't count them, but they were obviously well made and perfect for my purposes (geotokens). I was about to run out, so I ordered 200 more. They were a big disappointment. Not well finished, lots of knots and blemishes, got very dark when varnished. I gave feedback to Joe at Woodpeckers and he immediately sent me more at no cost to me. I haven't looked them all over yet, but they are smooth and finished like the first bag. While they'll probably bleed a little and require sealing, they'll be much easier for me to use, and even though I am not finicky, these are a big improvement over that second batch. This seller is very particular and will do his best to ensure your satisfaction. Thanks, Joe.... keep up the good work. I definitely will keep ordering these.
