The ghee that won me over!
I an giving this a one star review because I strong suspect the ghee I ordered and received is adulterated. At 23deg C this ghee doesn’t thicken and is like thin pouring consistency- like one expects of oil. I compared the consistency with another A2 brand I use called Praakritik and there is big difference in consistency. I wish I could have uploaded videos here to show people this. While the smell and flavor are good enough I don’t believe this ghee is pure and as such I cannot recommend it given the price. The other raving reviews against it are very misleading. Purchase at own risk.—.....—-....—-.....[update as of Jan 19, 2020]I am editing this review now because I have since changed my mind about this product. Over the last couple of days, the consistency of this ghee has become thicker and more settled and it is no longer as runny as it was on the day that it arrived. Since I am now happy with its texture - plus the overall packaging, information provided, colour and taste are pretty good - I am now changing the rating to a 5 and a ‘will recommend to other buyers’The founders at Team Anveshan, were prompt to get in touch to address my concerns on reading my initial review and even offered to set it right by offering a replacement jar for my peace of mind. However, I opted to stick with the jar I received because by now it looked and tasted pretty fine to me. For a start up company working to empower Indian farmers and bring fresh farm products to homes, they do believe in a high level of customer service. I am impressed with their ability to answer questions with no problems and share knowledge - an obvious reflection of their commitment and passion towards their product. For other buyers reading this review and initially finding themselves with the same concerns I did - perhaps you might find it helpful to know that the melting and crystallization of fats can get affected by weather and temperature conditions during transit and that while this may have some apparent, but temporary, impact on the texture/consistency of ghee bought over the internet (especially if you end up comparing it against the smooth and homogeneous texture of store bought ghee), it doesn’t affect the quality, taste, shelf life or genuineness of the ghee which arrives in a sealed jar. At my request, the Anveshan team even shared home testing solutions but assured me that they run every batch through stringent quality testing before it reaches customers. So recommending this ghee to anyone looking for something that is not subpar and trustworthy.Go buy and enjoy!

purity and natural origins
I recently purchased Anveshan A2 Ghee, and I must say the taste is very authentic and rich. Knowing it's made from Hallikar cow's milk adds to the trust and quality. The aroma might be a bit different from regular ghee, but that's because of its purity and natural origins—so I don't mind it at all. Overall, I had a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality A2 ghee!

Pricey but very good!
This is the best ghee I currently have tried in the market. It used to be less expensive, though. I do hesitate each time to purchase it just because of the cost, and I keep experimenting with other brands on and off but this one has been the most repurchased for me since the pandemic years. It comes the closest to tasting like homemade ghee. If you can afford it, I recommend it 👍🏽

Packing and container issue
Previously ordered but this time packing is not good . Container cap is not proper and loosely fitted.

Aroma, Texture and Taste below expectation.
Earlier, the Anveshan A2 Desi Cow Ghee, made by farmers of Karnataka, used to be packed in a transparent glass bottle, assuring a confident display of their Danedar texture and yellow colour. But of late I find Hallikar or Gir cow ghee is being marketed with a yellow shade translucent wrapping around, suggesting caution. To me, the present mild aroma and texture are no match to the age-old homemade Bilona buffalo ghee. Probably the clue lies in the heating and cooling process.
