BOSS Audio Systems CER462 Chaos Erupt 4 Inch x 6 Inch 2-way 220-Watt Full Range Speakers

I worked for a stereo shop for 10+ years ...I have heard all kinds like jl , kicker , alpine , kenwwod , focal , and eclipse speakers some well over 1000$$$$ .... To begin with I didn't know what to expect from the boss audio speakers at this price range but wow .... I did u some sound dynamat on my doors and around the speakers and wow mids are great and the highs are just right ... Wish I had a differentx-over that had play + or - 3db on tweet side butWow sound is great ... I am running old old mtx thunder amp 100 x 4 rms on them with one kicker 12" sealed .... Sound is perfect clear and loud and not distorted at all ....Don't worry about brand or price .... Thanks amazon and that is it

These speakers were bought for my best friends vehicle for Christmas and they replaced the ones she had in her vehicle that were blown. Now when we travel in her vehicle we can now jam to our favorite songs and not have to hear the music sound bad as these speakers are really worth the money. I hope she changed the ones in her dash next and then we can move on to putting a speaker box in the back! Just like the 90's! I will be pushing for the same brand of speakers to replace any other ones that are blown in her vehicle. It was a great sound for the price! Same as the expensive ones and I am very happy with the price and the sound.

A great deal for $20, especially for 2 speakers. Overall construction and quality exceeded my expectations, and they have been working well for over 6 months now. Keep in mind what a 3.5" speaker is capable of (or not capable of), follow the RMS manufacturer guidelines, and you will be happy with these. Don't have unrealistic expectations from such a low priced set of speakers, but know that these are good, and as long as your not trying to blast your ears out or comparing the quality of these to speakers five times the price, you will like them.

Ok here goes Sound quality is good with a stock radio,but with amplifier the improvement is much better cant go wrong for the price...suface mount with the tweeters when you try to pivot them they do not stay in place..

These speakers are replacement speakers for ones that go under the dashboard. They come in pairs. The one that goes on the left side is great, met my expectations and more, but the one on the right side crackles, very disappointing. And its a pain taking the dash off. So I'm considering this a loss until I get better quality speakers, thats worth the time disassembling the dash. Oh and the right speaker didn't crackle until an hour after installation.

Perfect upgrade from factory speakers in a 2002 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab! Weren't expensive and sound great! Didn't want to break the bank on a 2002 vehicle so this was just the right fit!! Had to do a little work getting them to fit properly, but it wasn't difficult!!

Haven't hooked them up yet but quality looks great and arrived on time.

I've bought these before. First time on Amazon. Great product. No complaints. I replaced the older ones because of a little niece thought it'd be funny to poke the speakers with a pen. Other then that they would have done a few more years of service.

These speakers are amazing for the price. Very happy.

Speaker was an easy install, but the tweeter to do a flush mount seemed a bit odd according to the instructions. I couldn't quite figure out how to secure the base plate for it to the support bracket and still be able to secure itself to the door panel. Still have three more to play with, I will figure it our eventually.

These speakers in case anyone was wondering come with mounting brackets and metal grills with the Boss label on them. They install just as easy as anyone would think, and even come with 1" inch screws in case you needed a couple. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the brackets, they look like they were shot out of a plastic mold and are flimsy but everything else is great.The power rating for these seems to be accurate, being 500w (Peak) @ 4 ohms, and 250w (RMS). I wasn't able to get these speakers to clip and they had very little distortion giving them max power, and for that I would highly recommend these. You get plenty of bang for your buck, just remember that these require some sort of ventilation to deliver good bass. If they are enclosed with no way of breathing, you're never going to hear the bass they produce well. I drilled two 1/2" holes for them, top and bottom and you could hear them exceptionally well.Here's a picture of them mounted inside a 1987 Chev. They barely barely just fit, haha.

Decent speakers for the money I paid. I have had Boss branded products in the past and they are good OEM replacements. Just don't expect to win any competitions with them.

Bought 2 Sets. Blew every speaker with just my Pyle Deck. No amplifier. Pathetic Speaker, So fragile
