Brass Tank Tee
The quality and functionality of this brass tank tee is excellent. The tank tee greatly simplified the piping for connecting a 1.5 HP pump and pressure tank with a ranch domestic water system.

The normal tank tee has a long leg on the tank connection. Therefore you are committed to install it one way. This design with the equal length for all three legs allows the option of which leg connects to the tank. The tee was perfect for the installation I just did. I used a schedule 80 PVC nipple to make the connection from the tee to the tank.

Lead free fittings has introduced a new number of leaks. New standards require lead free, this now make such fittings prone to weeping. Not manufactures fault, but don't be surprised if it is hard to seal. Use both thread sealant and teflon, and do not over tighten, and you will be fine.
