The product worked for a short while. I asked for a replacement from the company and was told I could get a one time replacement or return it to them for testing. I chose one time replacement.It's been MONTHS AND REPLACEMENT WAS NEVER RECEIVED. TOTAL WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

My Kenmore fridge is 6 years old; the lights started flickering or not working about 6 months ago, so I bought a complete set of (3) lights for the unit, which worked...for about 4 months. The lights either flickered, or would not illuminate at all, which is highly annoying. Then I heated up the top fridge light with a heat gun, which fixed the lights for about 2 months. Then the lights totally died about a month ago. So I ordered another $66 top fridge light. It came last week, but did not fix the lights. No lighting on fridge or freezer side AT ALL. So I read on line reviews, and took their advice, and bought an OEM unit for about 2x the money. BINGO! IT WORKS, and all lights are operational again! I guess you get what you pay for. The OEM unit is much brighter than the Amazon unit I bought previously. I returned the defective Amazon LED light unit for a credit. Why does a $1,000 fridge require $200-$300 worth of lighting? I remember when you could replace an appliance light bulb for about $2 when it eventually burned out. Look at your oven or dryer; do those have these massively over-expensive LED light units...NO! Stay away from the cheap LED knock-offs; buy the real McCoy.

My Ken more fridge lights started flickering and then turned into a pulse and it was driving me nuts.This is an inexpensive (compared to OEM part) fix for a failing set of interior lights in the fridge.Popped out the old one with a flathead screwdriver and then plugged this one in it’s place.Make sure to unplug fridge from the wall before swapping them out.Worked for month so far. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Seems to look and work exactly like the factory OEM part. Very easy to replace, but be sure to unplug the refrigerator before changing the part or it can be damaged. These LED light modules are definitely the weak link on these refrigerators. My fridge is barely 4 years old and this is the second replacement unit that I've had to buy and install (3 total when you count the one that came from the factory. I know this is not the factory OEM Whirlpool part, but it appears to look, fit and operate exactly the same as the original part. I figured it was worth a shot, since it's less expensive than the OEM part and since each of the two previous ones (both gotten from Whirlpool) only lasted about two years each before going bad and becoming strobe lights. I am pleased with my purchase. Only time will tell if this purchase was better, worse or about the same as buying the OEM part directly from Whirlpool. But, at least this one is a bit more affordable.

I purchased this replacement light to save money on the Whirlpool replacement. I figured they were all made in china anyways. Got this item ahead of schedule, thank you to the seller. I installed it right away according to instructions and I had light back on in my refrigerator. The led's were a little dimmer than the original which explains the cheaper price. The light lasted for a day and a half then quit. During this time that it was working I noticed that the freezer light had a couple of led's out so I figured that the freezer light quit this time since these lights are wired in series. Bought a new Whirlpool brand replacement and installed it. The lights were still out. So I paid through the ass and bought a Whirlpool brand refrigerator replacement light and swapped out this item and I'm back to a brightly lit up fridge and freezer. Don't buy this cheap replacement. Pay a little extra and get the Whirlpool light. It's an absolute crime that they manufactured the refrigerators with such an expensive lighting system. I'll never buy another Whirlpool or Kenmore again. The designers should be castrated.

I am somewhat torn about this product. On the one hand the light in my refrigerator is working (kind of). On the other hand, the light takes a second to turn on. My refrigerator is only two years old, so I think it's probably the light and not the whole refrigerator. I have seen places that the refrigerator side and the freezer side work together, and the freezer side is out too. I will replace the freezer side and if the reefer side starts working, I'll update my review. I know this isn't super helpful, but I hope to have more information soon.

That's about it. I had purchased the freezer LED and then had to purchase this one as well. Turns out both of mine were bad. Quick install, everything is working. It's not as flush a fit as the original but, for the price, I don't care.

The light that came with the fridge went out about after about 30 months. Then the replacement from Sears worked for about 4 months, next 3 weeks and finally this one 2 days.Solution.. get some motion activated, LED lights that are rechargeable with a USB chord that stick on with an adhesive magnet. Better light than original! And, only about $30 for a 3 light set.

Installs in only minutes but the first one lasted just over 1 year and the second one lasted only a few months. For the waranty I would have to send this unit and the other lights in the fridge to Texas so they could figure out what happened. Considering the postage and customs declarations to get this to Texas from Canada it is just not worth it. I have now installed 3 rechargable motion sensor activated lights that work just as good for a lot less money.

Delivery was next day, very impressed.The part is an exact match, easy install and works fine.The packaging has a note stating disconnect power before installing light.I included pictures of the original part and the new replacement LED light that I tried to fix.The only difference I see is the L1, L2 & L3 parts on the new board are different than on the original board. - I added that if you are inclined to try to repair your existing LED board before ordering a new one.I would recommend this part to anyone who is having a rave party in their fridge (strobing lights in the fridge).It’s the most inexpensive replacement I was able to find.Thanks

I checked the other lights and followed the procedure when changing the light and it worked fine. 7 months later now the all of the lights in the fridge don't work (very dim)Too bad there is no 1-year warranty.Waste of money

Unfortunately the product didn’t work when I installed it. I will be returning the product and it appears Amazon will be reimbursing me accordingly. Very impressed with the customer service provided. I may reorder when a service technician looks at my fridge.
