Not What I Expected
The product is very easy to unbox and setup (basically, 2 blocks, 2 Micro USB cables and bricks, and 2 HDMI Cords). The transmitter and receiver were placed only 3-4 feet apart, but it prevented me from a bunch of rewiring and drywall work, so I gave it a shot. My unit operated fine for about a week, but then started experiencing trouble syncing between components. I even shutoff my wireless router thinking it was interfering with the signal, but I still had no luck. A word of caution, this is a very high frequency signal. The image can be disturbed with any material (glass) or even a person standing in front of the transmitter. My unit had a very faint but noticeable high pitch noise coming from the transmitter. The other family members couldn’t hear it, but it drove me crazy. It is drowned out when you are actually watching TV. Maybe I’ll give this another shot in a couple of years.

Good for home theaters
This product works better than I expected. I had an older Nyrus wireless HDMI product prior to this which was fine 95% of the time. The other 5%, there would be weird interference that would require me to reset the power on my TV or the device to re-establish the connection. I was fine with this. However, I upgraded to the xfinity X1 platform last week. Which is notorious for causing problems with wireless HDMI transmitters. Apparently because it polls the next hop HDMI device for some information which is not part of the HDMI standard. And it causes many devices to freak out. Including my Nyrus. It would do this every time I changed channels and periodically it would do it just to upset me. I wasn't 100% satisfied with my old product anyway so this was a good excuse for an upgrade. Now, about this product. It's small. It's minimal. I adore the fact that it's USB powered. It makes the installation look very sleek. This is the wireless HDMI solution that I would have designed. My particular use case has my DVR in my closet. My TV is on a rolling cart that sits on one of two locations. Either going about 20 feet down a hallway with two layers of drywall to get out of the closet or about 5 feet going through 3 or 4 layers of drywall. I bought everything I needed to mount the transmitter outside of my closet but none of it was necessary. Which I find amazing because I read that 60mHz "can't shoot through paper".I'm happy that I bought the pro version so I could monitor signal strength because positioning is really touchy with how I'm using it. I have to shoot it through drywall and bounce it down the hallway for my further location. ANYTHING electrically conductive (metal, people, whatever) seems to completely stop any sort of signal propagation. So I had to mess with positioning for a while and make sure I could easily find that positioning again. But when they're aimed correctly, it's a dream.I'd suggest buying the product before you buy any tools and hope that you can shoot through whatever is in your way. But have a plan in case you can't. As long as you don't EXPECT to shoot too far through too much stuff, you'll probably be pretty happy using this for a home theater setup. And lock those things down. You don't want them shifting when you find the right position.

Very easy setup, works with Xfinity, quality is great.
Easy set up, works with my Denon AVR-1910 receiver, paired with an Xfinity HD DVR, Roku, and BluRay player.Previous system we tried from IOGear was incompatible with the Xfinity DVR box, so we tried this one after combing many of the A/V forums, and it worked like a charm, right out of the box. You may not need the Pro model, which I got just in case we had any need to tune things (based on past let down with the IOGear system).

Just works
I bought this for the conference room at work so people could setup their computers on the display without have to run wires. Works excellent. I was even able to put the receiver behind the TV which i wasn't expecting to be able to do, I figured it would have to be line of sight being at 60Ghz. I also like that you don't have any drivers so it will work with any HDMI based device. It is also cool that it transmits the sound too.

Don't do it!
Don't buy this. I'm not dumb about electronics. When I first set this up it took forever to work. It worked on and off for a short time but then it didn't. Called the company and spoke to somebody who tried to help me reconnect to no avail. He was nice enough to send me a replacement but the plugs were meant for a European electrical outlet. I replaced with the 110 plugs that came with the original device. Once again, it didn't connect. I gave up. As far as I'm concerned they stole my money. There are cheaper alternatives on the market that actually work. Buy one of those.

Doubting Thomas Turned True Believer
This product works great! Now I can put the TV where ever I want in the Family Room instead of the size-constraining over the fireplace hole. Easy to set up: Attached all the cables, plugged it in, turned TV and cable box on, and presto instant crystal clear picture. Perfect!

Works great, I have only noticed it once cutting out ...
Works great, I have only noticed it once cutting out due a person standing right in front of the transmitter for a couple minutes. It would be ideal if they made one that was dual 2.4 and 5 Ghz and it would switch between the two for the best single straight.

Lock in the signal and this is a great wireless HDMI solution
Near 0 latency for video and gaming. Using for projector and the picture is great. It will have problems if you switch inputs on your A/V receiver or TV. Finding a strong signal can be tricky.
