Ergon SMC3 Pro Saddles

I bought this saddle based on the good reviews throughout the online mtb communities. I had high hopes but was immediately dissapointed. Expected very high quality. But the saddle flexes A LOT. Much morr than any other good quality saddle ive owned. It also creeks.. Right out of the box. Cant imagine whatvit would sound like in 6 months. The flat portion for the sit bones has an awkward angle which digs into your thoughts.. Making it unusable for me. Doesnt matter how you adjust it... Its uncomfortable. And although it has a groin relief cutout... It still managed to put presaure on my perinuim within seconds.. No matter how much forward til i added it remained uncomfortable. Returning and going back to a specialized saddle

This is a really excellent saddle for the money (if you're interested, keep an eye on prices for a while -- they fluctuate a lot and you can find it at an affordable price given the quality). I bought it and went on a 150-mile weekend ride and it gave me unexpectedly few troubles. Make sure you check out Ergon's saddle selector on their site to get matched to the right one. It was definitely effective for me. Great construction and design.

It is not comfortable. On a ten mile ride I tilted 3 times to try to find a comfortable position. It feels as if there is a lump in the middle of it. It is the correct size.

This is a solid saddle and worth the money.Compared to a cheaper anotomic saddle, this doesn't lead to pain and uncomfort.

Venía usando un WTB pure V, desde hace un par de años, quise probar algo más cómodo, ya que Ergon se distingue por hacer Productos más ergonimicos ( tengo un par de puños ya de esta marca) y estoy muy feliz con el asiento, estaba en oferta, es el mejor asiento que he tenido para MTB.

Super light and comfy, which is very subjective depending on your sit bones. Take a look at the Ergon website and they have a saddle finder to ensure you get the best product.

Without question the very best saddle in its price range. Comfortable and light, I can ride hours and hours on this saddle without any discomfort. Product arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. Highest recommendations.

Pretty stiff, and not much more comfortable than the stock Giant saddle. Was expecting it to be better for this much money.

Richtig guter Sattel, für meinen Sitzknochenabstand von ca. 13cm passt er perfekt. Wirkt nicht zu klobig, ist recht leicht und hat trotzdem noch ordentlichen Restkomfort. Die Verarbeitung ist richtig gut und die Materialien wirken hochwertig. Ich hatte vorher einen SQlab Sattel der nochmals deutlich mehr gekostet hat, dieser wirkte (rein optisch und haptisch) viel viel billiger (Plastik Plastik Plastik).
