My First Premium Memory Foam Kids Toddler Pillow with Pillowcase, Pink, 12" x 16"

I bought for myself, not a child. I use as car pillow on trips, and knee support in hotels when sleeping. I can pack it in my suitcase easily when flying. I bought 2 extra pillow cases that fit it from same company. Very comfy pillow.

I bought this pillow for my 16mo old daughter. We never bought a pillow for my 3yr old son until he moved to a bed but my daughter has some drainage issues and tends to get a lot of colds so we figured it might help.It is a little firm but a great size for her convertable crib. It takes up about 1/3 of the standard crib mattress width so there is plenty of room around her to not use it. She still doesn't really use it but I don't think that has anything to do with the pillow. She certainly plays with it enough - just when she goes to sleep she still likes to just lie flat.I did lop one star off because the 'matching' pillowcase matches the pillow - not the pink velour pillow case it shows in the picture. So you get one colored pillow case and one natural pillow case with a woven texture instead of the fluffy velour. My kids, at least, think that means a totally different pillow which means it's really not useful.I think the product would be better if it had two matching cases or just the one and a reduced price so someone could buy the matching case. Maybe a little nitpicky of me but 5 stars should be hard to beat and with the extra firmness and the spare pillow case not being very useful I can't give it a 5. I would recommend it though.One last note is that this is probably firm enough that it can be used as a 'step' by a kid ready to climb out of their crib. I'm at least a few months away from worrying about that but other people may be a little closer to the point of no return.4/11/2013 UPDATE: In the past month or so my 21mo daughter started using this regularly. While she still ends up on occasion lying on just her mattress more often than not she is lying on this pillow when we leave her room and lying on it when we go in to get her up in the morning. I'm purchasing a second one that she can use at her daycare. I will probably keep the pink covers at home and send the plain, white ones to school.She is still a pretty small kid for her age so the pillow still works well for her but I would imagine it will be good for at least another 6 months. She has not used it as a 'step' at all but she now has a Leapfrog Violet in her crib as well and that would be just as effective. So I'm not that worried about it anymore.

I love this pillow for my slightly older child, but for a young child under 2 should not because if they lay their face straight down it is too condense to gain air flow and a child could suffocate. I did not have this happen but I was curious of the warning label.

I was concerned with buying a pillow for my daughter for the longest time. She finally turned 17 months and I decided to get this one. SHE LOVES IT! I feel very safe leaving it in the crib because it doesn't take up the whole head part of the crib. Background note: She always cries when I leave the room after putting her to bed...I placed this pillow under her head for the first night and NOT A PEEP was made when I left! I knew she was extra comfortable while sleeping on this pillow. Best money I've ever spent on an amazing pillow for my daughter.

My toddler daughters loves these pillows. They are easy to travel with. I like the removable cover. It’s durable and easy to wash. I would recommend for small kids.

This pillow has helped my daughter start sleeping better on her own. She loves the soft material. I love the pillow case that came with it so when we take it on trips I don't have to worry about washing the pillow itself just the case. And of course she loves that it is pink! Very soft but holds it's shape so I don't have to be over paranoid about suffocation hazards

Wow! I am truly amazed at the quality of this product and how well it fits my daughter. I had looked everywhere for a toddler sized tempur pedic style pillow. This was completely above and beyond my expectations. The cover is very soft and high quality and comfy. The pillow itself is one that is not flimsy and doesn't loose it's plushness like others. My daughter loves her "princess pink pillow" and yours will, too!!

It's too hard. Because it's too hard, there is no give it is too thick and puts my childs head at an awkward angle. I was expecting a softer memory foam product, not something this stiff. I tried to soften it up but didn't work. We ended up not using it at all after a couple of nights.

The pillow is the perfect size for a little one. Not to thin not to thick. The pillow is very soft and comfortable. The price is good value for what you get.
