Works, compact.
Wish it was just a tad bit brighter, but it works for what I need it for if something wakes me up in the middle of the night in my house.

Excellent little light!
Excellent little light! I'm using it not as a backup light, but rather a primary weapons light. It's small, super light, unobtrusive, and weatherproof to 1 meter. The two small white LEDs probably aren't the best choice for your primary OUTDOORS light, but for inside of a darkened house (especially if you are just woken from something going bump in the night), it'sjust fine. I have it mounted in front of a Leupold Deltapoint Pro red dot holographic sight, and the MFT mini light's profile is so low that I can't even see it while looking through the red dot sight. I'm going to have to pick up a couple more of these excellent lights!

Great Home Defense/Navigation light
It's not a combat light. It's a backup light and it's perfect for what it is. It will not blind people but if you shine the light in someone's face in total darkness, they won't be able to see your face; but it is more than enough to identify the target in a living space which is its primary purpose. It is ideal for home defense. This little light is also ideal for navigating dark areas for long periods of time; it can last an entire night on continuous ON (almost exactly 12 hours as advertised). It has the lowest weight and mass of any weapon-mounted light currently on the market. With is IPX7 rating, it is great for a rainy day/night in the woods. I slathered some bulb grease inside my five Torch lights' internals to give them additional protection from corrosion and the elements. My only 2 gripes are: 1) its batteries are not as common or cheapness as others, but that's the cost to keep weight and dimensions to a minimum; buy a few extras and stuff them in your weapon's storage compartments or field maintenance kit. 2) the price; I understand the company has to cover development costs, but jeez. Should be $20 max. All-in-all a great product. Pick one up and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Great light for the money
American made. Durable. Bright enough to fill a room with light at night. Sure, it’s less than 100 lumens, but it’s more than enough to provide better visibility of your target in low light/no light situations. I’d give it 5/5. Performs as described.

Love these things
People like to hate on these little lights for some reason, but I love 'em. I keep them on a lot of my guns, never had an issue with durability. If the battery cover ever comes off, I'll slap a piece of gaffers tape over it. Is it bright enough to burn someone's eyeballs out of their heads at thirty yards? No. But it's plenty bright enough for me to see clearly across any space in my home, and, in my personal experience, I can't see anything with it shining in my face at ten feet. Maybe this isn't your first choice for home defense and you have the budget for a $200 light, fair enough, but any firearms instructor will tell you that every gun that might be used for home defense should have a light, and this is at minimum a great secondary option. This is especially true if that secondary weapon is a 308 or a 12 gauge, because these lights weigh nothing.

Perfect for indoor and close range outdoor use.
Plenty of light for indoor use. Low profile makes it easy to pull the firearm out of it’s scabbard. Perfect fit for the TAC-14.

Its all about your environment with this light
Its has a small foot print so you don't have to worry about it snagging on something or getting in the way. Although it takes two CR2016 batteries, in a pinch you can throw one CR2032 in it and it will work no problem. The down side is, like most LED lights the light just scatters. If your environment is longer the 15 - 20 feet you might want to stay away from this. I do not see any applications for this on a rifle. Maybe a AR pistol or something along that line but other then that you would be better off with a proven rail light. All in all it is still a nice add on to your home protection gun,.

It’s all how you use it
Honestly I was hesitant . But I was pretty impressed with this little light . For inside the house on my back up pistol it works great. I read the review about using the single larger battery. I purchased some how ever couldn’t get the darn cover off yet. So I’m not gonna force it. It’s a great back up light how ever I would run it solo as a home defense . Maybe even two on each side rail.
