6A Stud adapter fits Freeland Rail with no modifications
I don't often write reviews, but I just wanted to mention two things about the 6A stud/adapter.1. I've purchased T-nuts that were supposed to fit Freeland (American) rails and they did not, so it was into a vise with a flat file to make them work, no biggie, but just one more thing to do. This stud adaptor fits the rail easily and with no filing required.2. I've read a few reviews where the purchasers have complained that Harris is using a slotted screw instead of a hex head to secure the adaptor. Not that it bothered me one way or the other, but I did decide to use a hex head and a trip to my local Ace Hardware solved that "problem" 65 cents later. In case anyone is interested , it's a 1/4-28 hex head I forgot the length ..might have been 3/8"..bring the slotted screw with you to match up. Other than that, like all Harris products it's a great piece.

room for improvment on set screws
The set screw is slotted. All the other screws on my gear are hex for ease of field adjustment. There are numerous allen or hex set screw sources here on Amazon.

product is well made but it did not meet my expectation, no real measurement so it did not fit my needs and it will cost me more to send it back so I'll just keep it.

Harris Adapter
This was used to connect a sling to a Crosman PCP air rifle. Cheaper than the other part that was recommended by others. Does the job simply and well.
