GALAFIRE 3 3/16 inch Large Face 550 °F BBQ Grill Thermometer Wood Smoker Temp Gauge with Lengthened 2 7/8 inch Stem for Barbecue Meat Cooking

I purchased this gauge to replace the broken gauge on my older Jenn-Air grill . Installation was a easy gauge looked great and was very accurate when checked with my digital Laser thermometer. When installing this gauge make sure the gauge base sits flat on the grill lid and don't over tighten the nut, it just needs to be snugged tight. I bought 4 of these (might get a couple more) for a smoker I'm building out of a 250 gallon propane tank. The are large and easy to read. Since I don't have the smoker ready to go I took these out side (temp was 103 that day) and let them all sit for a minute to get up to temp. They start at 100 and I wanted to see if all the needles went to the same point. they did. I think they will be accurate. I'll probably get some more after I get further along in my construction.

This product was nice when I first got it and seemed fairly accurate. However, it is not sealed properly and moisture collected on the inside of the glass ( or plastic ) window while attached to my smoker. I even took it off the dome and kept it indoors when not in use but it still failed after just a few uses. I'd return it to Amazon, but the warranty is now expired and I'm just out of luck. Don't but this one, look for something else that has a chance to last more than one smoker season!

This is very accurate and easy to read from a distance. I compared the reading to a digital leave-in thermometer reading and to a temperature probe and it was right on. As far as reading it, I can easily read it from 50 ft away or even through my security camera over my driveway.

We purchase this thermometer gauge twice for our Weber Kettle Grill "22 inches. The first device broke during installation. The second device broke in half after one use. Very annoying. The next thermometer gauge I will purchase from Amazon will be the Weber.

THESE PEOPLE REALLY CARE. I HAD A PROBLEM WHICH WAS NOT THEIR FAULT BUT STILL BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO HELP. THESE THERMOMETERS ARE THE BEST LITTLE SECRET ON AMAZON. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PRICE. THEY ARE FIRST CLASS THERMOMETERS. THEY ARE EASY TO READ FROM A DISTANCE AND ARE VERY ACCURATE. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY.

This cage is fantastic and fits my grill perfectly. I had to custom drill my own hole But it looks factory and seems to be holding up well

Nice gauge, put it in the door of a vertical smoker. Removed the company logo and this fit in the some hole perfectly.
