HYDRA Petrol Power Blast 250ml Treats UpTo 250 litres Fuel Injector Cleaner Improves Combustion & Boost Cetane

I was attempting to add a few MPG by using this product, based on other reviews. The vehicle had been standing for several months and had only just scrapped through its emissions test at MOT, on the advice of the garage I had splashed out £16 on a dedicated complete fuel system flush, obviously this was a once in a while addition as that added to every tank of fuel would be equivalent to paying an extra 32p/litre, it would be cheaper to just fill up with a name brand super fuel.I added this in accordance with the instructions on the container at double in the first tank, I had also increased my tyre pressures by 2 psi and after enduring a rather bumpy ride, when I refuelled I had managed to coax, by judicious driving, speculatively speaking about a mile and a half extra per gallon. I continued using it to see if there is any improvement in the MPG but alas to no avail, I like to think that at least I have a very clean fuel system. Perhaps if you used it in the first instance to clean out a fuel system it might show better results but I don't think that it actually boosts the octane rating significantly enough to have much effect on saving money at the pump.I have had cause to stop for fuel at a named brand service station where I optionally paid the extra to use the higher octane fuel and the difference was really obvious, sadly I only get paid minimum wage and could not afford to do this regularly.Yes I think it has a place if you, like me, fill up at the cheapest fuel station around, and it probably does help your engine run cleaner which in turn possibly 'helps the environment', but there are other additives that do the same.

Scene set.Now back to the review, within a couple of miles, I do the same journeys every week (well at the moment we can’t do much else) work and shopping, same old routine, covering the same miles. I got used to putting £20 of petrol in each week and then I came across this most fantastic product and now I only spend £15!! Proof positive in my opinion, this product works! As well as fuel economy, the whole response and driving ability of the vehicle had improved noticeably so.I already have another bottle on order, ready for when I need it. .

It works, nuff said. Used in a DL1000 motorbike has stopped the throttle popping I was getting when hot due to the lean tickover mixture

I didnt really notice much difference in feel of engine or on MPG. It was also difficult to decant into the petrol tank i bought the larger bottle and you have to fill a bit at the top to measure and pour into tank then refil as its not the entire bottle you put in the tank. it leaked as well after use and very strong smell. leaked on the paint work and slight peeling noted. awkward to use would not buy again. tried cattaclean that stuff really improved MPG average hugely

Great product. Terrible packaging. As soon as the foil seal is gone it leaks. Do not keep this in your car boot or it will melt whatever plastic it is near.Now it's not all bad news - it truly is great at cleaning injectors and with fuel sitting in tanks for extended periods this is a great stabiliser. Sort the packaging out and it'll be perfect.

this is an awesome product, it improved performance of my 2001 audi TT immediately and fixed an annoying stuttering issue after a few months use that even an audi specialist couldn’t sort out 😬 i now use it in every tank !

This stuff really works to such an extent you know when you’re not using it
