PowermaticMobile Base, for PJ882/PJ-882HH Jointers (1610078)

This is a mobile base. Nothing fancy. One of the two knobs came broken but Jet quickly shipped out a replacement part at no cost. This makes moving my 700lb jointer a breeze. Just think for $2+ for the jointer this should come with it! All in all they might want to put a little bit of foam in with the packing and there wouldn't be any issues.

This is a very well build stand for my PJ882. It is a bit expensive but, I couldn't imagine not owning it. It really does make the 800+lbs tool "roll like butta." this unit comes fully assembled as every joint is welded. It fit the tool perfectly! As I have a normal basement shop, space is at a premium and the ability to move my tools is becoming more important. This base really is great. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a PJ882.

The base is of good quality; nice finish on it. All four casters lock if needed. Fits the PJ822HH perfectly. A little pricy but so is the PJ882HH. It functions as expected. If it matters to you just be aware there is very little clearance from the ground to the bottom of the base. Because of the low clearance the base will hang up on a slight "hill" as I have to my workshop entrance. No big deal.

Must be a fake. Wheels don't have bearings. One doesn't move. Paint is peeling and worst of all you can see through the spotty welds. No way this can hold a jointer. Definitely not the quality of powermatic/jet.

Works very good. Fits perfectly.
