Good, not great, but at this price highly recommended.
If you don't have a barspoon and never have, you should get this one. It's cheap, it gives you a feel for using one, and if you are anything like me, it will make you realize that you never want to use anything else to stir a drink again. If you don't have a friend who can take an extra one from a bar and you like to make cocktails, you should get this. It is a very capable barspoon at a very reasonable price. However, I'm not saying that it is without it's drawbacks. At this price, you would be a fool to image differently. Some of them are:- The bottom of the spoon is welded to the handle that create some imperfections on the spoon. On mine, they are very minor and I didn't even notice them at first- It is fairly light but doesn't quite feel flimsy. You could easily bend it if you wanted to, much easier than a regular spoon. Over time, mine has accumulated a slight bend several times, but I can usually just bend it back without too much issue.- The spiral part in the middle does not have rounded edges. You can still stir by rolling that part through your fingers, but it is not as easy as with a spoon that has rounded edges on that part.- The red plastic tip is too small to try and function as a muddler, like some other barspoons have at the top. That being said, to find a barspoon that doesn't have any of those problems would cost probably at least $15. If you are looking at this spoon, and reading these reviews, I assume that you are probably debating whether or not it is worth spending $3 on something that is just a longer version of a utensil that you already have in a drawer. If that's the case I am telling you that I was in that position two years ago and bought this spoon and I am certainly glad I did.

It stirs my drinks! (but not by itself)
This little bar spoon is very basic. It cost so very little, that I didn't have great expectations. I just needed a long spoon to stir drinks... I was not out to impress ; ) That being said, it's not horribly thin metal, it's got a little weight to it, I suppose. The red plastic dealio on the end is kinda cheap looking, but again, I wasn't looking for a high-end cocktail stirrer. Overall, it doesn't embarrass me, and it stirs my drink really well, providing I help it along. You can't go wrong if all you want is to get on with your party.

Rough edge finish. Otherwise good.
It's good for a $3 mixing spoon, but it's got a rough edge finish. You can tell the thing was cut on a CNC plasma and that they didn't bother to grind the edges down. (At least, I can tell, because I'm familiar with plasma cutters.)It's a small detail, but it brings the quality down. I'd just charge an extra $2 and clean it up a bit. It'd only take about 30 seconds drop it in a vise and hit it with an angle grinder - the key thing is that you've got to do that prior to twisting the stem, or it'd just be a royal PITA.

I had no idea how bad we needed these!
These spoons are one of those items that until I bought them I didn't realise hat I needed them and once they showed up I wondered how we ever survived without any of them in my kitchen all these years. They are the perfect length to stir beverages, scoop peanut butter out of the bottom of the jar if you're 11 and raiding the pantry, and many other uses. I love how the twisted portion of the spoon moves ice around (I have a hydroflask that tends to stay cold so my ice freezes together causing my straw to be unable to reach the liquid that I am tryin to drink, these break up the ice without me having to use force).
