NECA Classic 1995 Burning Godzilla Head to Tail Action Figure, 12"

When NECA first announced their Godzilla line, I was very excited. Finally, high-quality detailed and articulated figures for a fraction of the price of the comparable S.H. MonsterArts figures. I found NECA's Godzilla 2014 figure to be the most accurate representation of the monster as he appears in the film (probably because NECA used the actual CGI model from the movie to create the figure). The Godzilla 1994 figure that followed was also a solid collector's piece, boasting great detail and impressive articulation. NECA's Godzilla 1984 figure was not as well-received by consumers, but undeniably it was an improvement over their prototype. And despite the negativity, I was happy to purchase the 1984 anyway, given how rare figures of that design were.And now, finally, NECA's Burning Godzilla has been released. Originally slated for a January 2015 release, I finally picked mine up in March. How is it? Well, a few things I must point out are that it is a repaint of the earlier Godzilla 1994 figure, which makes sense since the Burning Godzilla suit was made using the suit from Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla. It also is not incredibly accurate to the suit, as their are various burning marks stretching across the sides and on the back of the figure. The old Bandai Creation Burning Godzilla figure was more suit-accurate in this regard.However, I have come to think that the inaccuracy of this figure only makes it better. The burning effects are beautiful and resemble flames stretching across Godzilla's body. And under the right lighting conditions, these burning patches will even glow. The dorsal spines are made of a soft bendable rubber like the 1994 figure, but are partially transparent and have an orange tint, making them an almost flawless representation of the suit, as under the right lighting conditions they will glow as well. One of my favorite aspects of the figure are its eyes. The eyes are different from those on the 1994 figure, and perfectly capture the angry reddish glow of Godzilla's eyes in the film. I daresay they look even better than the eyes on S.H. MonsterArts' Burning Godzilla figure.All in all, I'd say that this is my favorite Godzilla figure produced by NECA so far. I eagerly anticipate their upcoming figures, especially the Godzilla 1954. Their next figure is set to be the NES Godzilla, which I am less excited for considering it is just a retool of their Godzilla 1984 figure. Nonetheless, given the value and small price tag of the figure, I'd recommend to any Godzilla enthusiasts or collectors to pick it up, as it really is an impressive figure to behold.

Came to pick it up from my house and went to my cousin's house, when i opened there the box and figure looked perfect, the box had a rip at the bottom so i had the advantage to get the figure out, when i got the figure out, it was so awesome, some parts on it was stuck, and the leg had like this little paper thing on it, but i fixed these problems, but the leg is not the same as the other leg, because one is stuck a bit, and the other is fine, i have this same problem with my neca 24" head to tail godzilla 2014 so i used to this problem

We have almost all of the NECA Godzilla’s and they are all great! This one was great too there was jst a broken dorsal fin that I could have easily glued but my son the Godzilla collector was having none of that. They’re shipping a new one so all is well with the world. Replacement process is super easy.

It's a great figure for $17.27 or 18.99. Fits great with my other 6", 6.5", and 8" Godzilla figures. However, when I got mine their was a problem with one of the fins. It was out of its place. I tried to put it back in place, but wouldn't stay. So, I decided to just crazy glue it into place. Also, the whole figure is made out of a translucent rubber which means the black is painted on, excepted for the head. The head it purely made out of a black with a hint of green tint. The tail has a bend wire unlike the S.H Monster series, which is all on a loose ball joint. Finale verdict, the figure is great for low budget collectors, but if you want a really detailed figure S.H Monster line is the way to go (I would put a picture comparing them, but don't want to deter anyone from one from the other. I have both and I like both for each companies different touches to the figure.) S.H Monster line more expensive vs NECA, but both are great it's only up to you the buyer to see what you want ( I posted pictures of the figure up)

When I got it it came in a big box but it's because the seller didn't have any other box but still great figure

My son loves new burning godzilla actio. Figure. It was packaged nicely in the original box and the colors and detail is very bright. The head comes off rather easily so beware but it attaches easily and my son demanded i give it a five star so im giving it a five star for him. Its a very nice looking toy

Godzilla is absolutely awesome he's my favorite action figure. so much articulation! love the translucent spikes. Wire tail may pop out if you bend it. But I don't use the tail much

Die Godzillafigur sieht einfach toll aus und ist sehr beweglich. Ich freue mich, dass ich einen Godzilla zu Hause stehen habe. Er sieht fast wie im Film aus. Würde ihn wieder kaufen.
