These shoes are exactly as described. I'm pleased with the quality. They came 3 weeks early which was fantastic because the dance shoes I was using every day for the last year broke just a couple of days before these arrived. Breaking them in only took about a day and a half. The first day, the balls of my feet were on fire. There wasn't much padding in that area so I added insoles to that spot. The next day was instantly better. The third day was like I had been using them forever. They are so pretty, sturdy and comfortable. I got them in champaign color and I love it. They are exactly what I needed. If you read the description, it says actual heel height is 2.36" which was good for me. I ordered the same size dance shoe I always do and they were just right. I did have to add holes to the straps to make them tight enough. No big deal. Make sure you measure where the hole should go while it's on your feet. You may have to add two to make them even with the other holes. That way if you wear thick tights or socks with them, you'll still have a hole and a good fit for that situation. (But then take it off so you don't prick yourself!) all in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. They are sturdy and comfortable. I've already had comments that my balance has improved. I feel like these really hold me in.

Beautiful shoes. My daughter wore them to prom. Normally she takes off whatever shoe she wore to the dance and ends up barefoot. We wanted a shorter heel and a shoe that she could be comfortable in for dancing. I am pleased to say that she did keep these on her feet all night. She loved them. She has wider feet and a bony protrusion on one of her feet. She typically wears a wider shoe and sometimes goes up a half size when a wide version is unavailable. She went with a size 9 in this based on reviewers (not adding the half size for width) and it fit very comfortably.

Wore these shoes to a charity event and was on my feet for over 5 hrs (dancing most of the time) and they were so comfortable AND cute as a button!! I must point out that I have a terrible time finding shoes to fit my feet so I was thrilled that these didn't rub. I did add an extra cushion in the bottom of the shoe but they weren't needed. In fact, I removed the insoles pretty quickly.

The heel base is plastic and marks the floor. I took them to a shoe repair and they replaced with rubber.

I do a lot of ballroom dancing and I needed a shoe update, so I thought I would give these a try. I love that they are pretty as well as didn't need breaking in upon dancing. The sole is semi padded and is pretty flexible. When walking the shoe does squeak a little in the sole but you don't notice or hear anything when you're dancing with the loud music. They held up really well and are pretty comfortable. The bottom is suede so you can easily glide along the dance floor. Overall, great shoe! I may be ordering the same shoe in black.

These are beautiful dance shoes for the price. I don't understand the negative comments. They fit me size 8 perfectly. Anyone who knows dance shoes knows that the bottom leather piece is for dance floors only. No outside walking in them. The buckle is familiar because other makers make these type of buckles for dance shows and they are much more expensive than these. Mine arrived much early than expected and I am very pleased with the way they look and fit. I haven't tried them on the dance floor yet so not sure how long I can dance in them yet. Right now I am very pleased and if they are comfortable to dance in I will probably order another pair in black. I have the champagne color. I would like a lower heel because that is my preference, but 2 inch was the lowest they have.

Great dance shoe for the $$ I have spent way more on dance shoes and the quality difference between those and this pair is minimal. I am going to get the heals black plastic swapped out for rubber and then they will be perfect, but they passed the twirl around the living room.
