King Arthur 100% Organic Bread Flour, Unbleached, 5 lb (Pack of 1) - Non-GMO Project Verified, No Preservatives

I’m new to baking sourdough & everyone recommends King Arthur organic bread flour for a reason! If you want consistent results, this is the way to go. Best taste, best results.I put too much work into making sourdough, to waste it by going the cheap route on some no-name flour. This is worth it.My daughter is not celiac, but is gluten-sensitive. She does not have any reaction to sourdough made with this KA organic bread flour. It’s good to have an option that works for her!

King Arthur’s Unbleached Organic Bread Flour is hands-down my favorite for sourdough baking. The high protein content gives amazing structure and chew, and it plays beautifully with long fermentations. My loaves come out with a gorgeous open crumb and crisp crust every time. I’ve also used it to make crackers and cinnamon rolls.It’s consistent, reliable, and honestly makes a noticeable difference in both flavor and texture compared to other flours I’ve tried. Plus, it’s organic and unbleached, extra points for that.

Packaged well for shipping (although I do feel like shipping took a hit minutes- but then again, I did order like 5 bags lol). It seems like at Publix and the Fresh Market - really anywhere I go that sells Organic Bread Flour, only sells them in the small 2-3 lb bags. I started getting into making my own sourdough bread and only use organic ingredients- so I go through a lot of bread flour- especially when feeding my starter. Great quality, taste, and value for the quantity and size. I will be ordering again when I need to replenish (or like a week before I actually need to replenish lol).

Nice high 12.7 % protein although not stamped on covering. ( I had to go on website to find this; note the standard bread flour has 12.7% stamped on covering that is readily seen. High protein content very important for good quality sourdough. Nice and fine.

This package says there's bread flour and a kitchen scale. All that was in this damaged box was a mess of bread flour, no kitchen scale. I wish this order wasn't like this, I was looking forward to making bread.

I switched to using this flower for my sourdough bread. I have noticed that my starter looks slightly darker, but everything taste great and my bread has become more consistent. I appreciate that this is organic and King Arthur quality. I was a little nervous about shipping flower, but all four bags arrived without any damage.

My order arrived in a big box with several items. The bag of flour was just thrown in there without any protective wrapping around it. It's bring a leak and there was flour all over everything.

Purchased for making sourdough. Absolutely love this brand and no local stores carry the organic version. Super grateful it’s available for shipping.
