I’ve purchased this motor twice. Once in December 2019 and once in May 2020. The first one I bought lasted 5 months. The impeller broke off. The second one lasted less than 2 months and the impeller broke off again. Maybe it’s my washer that’s causing the motor to break. I’m not really sure but all this thing does is push water to the drain so I feel like it’s more of a quality issue with this part than a problem with my washer.

HORRIBLE PUMPS!! DO NOT BUY!I bought two of these because they don't last very long, but these Chinese pieces of crap should not even be sold. The first one catastrophically failed after two weeks of light use, the impeller broke off and shattered inside the drain, that was fun to clean out. Good thing I had a backup you might think, well, the second was worse than the first. Installed it, everything looked fine until the first use. The head was not attached to the body, so every drop of water that went in the washer came out through the body of the pump and completely flooded the floor.. negative 5 stars.

I was worried that it might not fit my LG Washer, but it was a perfect fit once I realized I had the wrong screw. Washer drains so well, my clothes are nearly dry after a spin cycle.

price was great ...looks like all of these are made by same china company...only the price is different....mostly plastic same as factory unit

After a good while

I picked one of these up and placed it on the shelf. It's not LG, but it works. Maytag used to make these pumps that lasted 15+ years, but with LG if you get four to six years out of the pump, you've gotten all you're going to get. It's discouraging to be on the third pump, but the replacement is able to be performed by a novice, and these non-LG pumps seem to last as long as the OEM did.
