The container is very tall. Lid is finicky to attach and opening is large enough a small child could stick their hand inside. Please be aware if you have small children

I had a tough time finding a small enough container for my once-a-month Aimovig injectors, but this one seems to be just fine! The small containers were too short for the injector which is more than 6.5” long. I wasn’t sure until this container arrived if the top opening would be large enough to accommodate it, but fortunately it is. I’m only guessing, but I might be able to fit a year’s worth (12) injectors into one case; I’ll have to wait & see — but I did order 2 just in case!!

I bought this  BD Sharps 1.5 QT Container  to hold the hypodermic syringes from the Betaseron (Beta-Interferon) injections that my mom gets (and which I now give her) on an alternate day basis. Although the online/mail-order pharmacy which provides her Betaseron in a 3-month supply also sends the peripherals (sharps container, alcohol swabs, etc.) because of a mixup, they did not put in the order for (and send) the sharps container with one of the medication shipments and had only sent the meds. Yet, unfortunately, when we asked them to send the sharps container separately, they claimed (don't know if its true or not, though!) that they were not authorized to send any injection supplies without also refilling the prescription in the same order -- and since the prescription had just been filled (and was not due to be renewed for another 3 months) they could not, or would not send a sharps container until then.But since the sharps container we'd been using was getting almost full, and we couldn't wait another 3 months (and dozens of syringes later!) to get another sharps container, I came on Amazon, to just get it independent of the pharmacy -- and I'm so glad I did. This sharps container is BETTER than the one the pharmacy sends.First of all, UNLIKE the sharps container that the pharmacy sends, this container has a handle -- and that makes it a lot easier to carry this container, especially when its full!Also this container feels like its a lot more sturdy & durable than the other sharps containers (from the pharmacy) I've used in the past, but then again, maybe that's just my imagination, I dunno.Last but not least this sharps container seems to be very spacious, and looks like it will hold a LOT of syringes -- at one syringe for an every-other-day injection, more than enough to last long enough for (or maybe even PAST) the 3 months until the next prescription order/refillBasically, whatever your injection or needle needs, this is a nice, big container to safely hold syringes, lancets and other sharps. Nevertheless, if you live in a home with young children, or those with substance abuse problems, remember to keep this container safely out of reach, because while the container is open/in use, it *could* be possible (I don't know for certain because I've never actually tried, out of fear of getting possibly getting stuck with the needle in the process!) for small hands to reach into the mouth to pull out the syringes or other sharps, or maybe turn the container upside-down to pour out the contents.But other than that, this is a GREAT sharps container!★☆★☆★ 5 STARS!!!!

Nice needle storage case not that big perfect great for price

I like the product because they are easy to assemble and use. I used the collector to dispose of injector pens.

Perfect size for this person with Type II diabetes sharp waste from daily testing and injections. Easy to setup and seal, plus the size makes storage easy also. Highly recommend this item and also the seller.
