This medicine ball has issues
Received a 10 pound ball the other day. Ball was under inflated so I attempted to add air and when I did the inflation plug pushed all the way into the ball. This now leaves a hole in the ball and the loose sand can fall out. This brings me to my second issue with this ball. It is filled with loose sand. This makes the ball unsteady as the sand moves around the inside of the ball. Great for weight but not a great design for a medicine ball. I've used others that are solid which are a much better design. i will say the ball had a great surface that seemed easy to grip. This one is being returned.

Unpredictable, and probably not the safest to exercise with
I was looking up medicine balls and saw this. I thought it was a medicine ball, so I guess I don’t understand what a “slam ball” is. It is too hard to exercise with, as the inside is loose sand. When you throw it in one direction, it takes the sand a moment to catch up, before it throws the full weight. It’s too hard on the body, To have some thing with such unpredictable weight continuing to move when you believe it to be stopped. I definitely would not recommend it as a exercise ball.

It's got a good grip!
Damn it's great for working out!I ordered a 50 pound one. Just carrying it and moving my body with it is superb.

Don’t be afraid of the weight
Arrived quickly and without issue. At first I thought I had made a mistake by getting such a heavy ball- it turned out to be perfect and useful for many more exercises than just the slam. You can hold and squat effectively because of the size no matter how big a person you are

Slammy slam slam
Great slam ball. Does just what I need it to do! Yes there is space in it, there should be so it doesn't bust. So dont mess with. This is a SLAM ball. NOT a medicine ball.

Cheap in price not quality
Wasn’t sure what to expect as this slam ball was a lot less expensive than most. I am totally happy with it! The material is durable and strong! Excited to add some more different sized balls to the home gym.

Non-slippery Easy to grip with your hands but quite slippery to hold with your feet
Good quality material, soft, non-slippery and easy to grip with your hands. Size is also quite perfect. However, because it is soft, it is quite hard to grip with your feet which renders it less useful for leg exercises. If you want something that is easy to grip with both hands and feet, consider a more solid ball.
