Great instructions you can read in minutes.
I give this unit five stars because it is well made and was very easy to set up. (You have to down load and update all the vehicle versions. It took 25 minutes or so.) I scanned a 2002 Ford F250 no codes tripped. I also have a 2022 Honda Ridgeline I need to scan, just haven’t had time to do it. I am confident it will do well. Oh it has a touch screen and it is a good size screen. Very easy to use and has the ability to clear 12 codes… only time will tell how it will hold up, but it looks rugged enough for a long life. Good buy for under $500.

Nice upgrade, great interface
The media could not be loaded. I own the previous model CRP129 and this new CRP129X is leaps and bounds better than the last version. For one, it comes with a nice case unlike the last model. The touchscreen works very nice and is very intuitive. The last model could do a lot but it was not a touch screen and the interface was very lacking. It is really nice having internet capability to look up any code that comes up and to download latest updates. The health report is a good summary of all the issues with any of the systems. The capability of this model is the best that I have owned.

I love this thing
Grate product, very useful and fairly easy to learn. Lots of information can be obtained with this product, lots of features like check engine, brakes, spark there's a lot. The design is nice but it is a little awkward to hold sometimes. But all in all it's a good price for the size and usefulness of the product.

I would definitely recommend this product for every car owner
As soon as the warning light on dash came on, I went to the parts store. The guy charged me $99 for diagnosis and helped turn the light off, so I thought he had fixed all the issues. However, 3 days later, the warning light was back on. Instead of spending $99 again, I bought this diagnostic tool even though I had no idea about vehicle repair. I inserted it in my car’s obd port, it worked flawlessly. It can not only tell me the diagnostic trouble code but also show some available tips for facilitating the repair. It turned out that the warning light alerted me to replace the broken O2 Sensor. I took my car to another repair center and showed them the diagnostic information, they said that that parts store just cleared the diagnostic trouble codes, but they didn’t replace the bad O2 sensor for me. As a result, the problem had not been solved, and the check engine light would repeatedly turn on. That parts store made me angry, but I felt lucky to buy this diagnostic tool. It is equipped with comprehensive diagnostic functions such as advanced SAS, EPB, TPMS OIL RESET. When my car goes wrong again, I am able to detect the problem on my own rather than blindly rely on the “mechanic”! Would definitely recommend this product for every car owner.

Great Product
I just got is to save me from going to the Dealership and spending 2500.00. I had to reset my Dodge 3500 system DPF. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and get the updates. Then you will need to sign up for the SWG program so you can reset your vehicle the cost of the program is 50.00 per year will worth it. My final thoughts is it worthwhile to get this product. It will save you money. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Appears that the listing info is a little stretched
So I already have the autel 906 for work but was wanting something a little smaller and more basic/simpler one to for just home use or for quick checks when I don’t wanna lug out the big ol 906 and I had the old crp123 years ago and from what I remembered it was a great little scanner especially for around only 100$ and so I started looking at the Crps and just so happened to be a lighting deal for 199$ tbag day and I figured misewell jump on it and unfortunately as of now I’m not super happy with it. First turns out even the lighting price of 199 wasn’t a bad deal but not super good like I thought when I found a bunch on eBay for like 180 that even came with the tpms tool which from what I saw in the reviews on the Amazon listing it sounded like they would send you one of you left a review but I got nothing with mine. And man if it even did half of what it said it could do I would be a happy man but I took it to work the other day (one of those smaller type car lots) so we have basically a little bit of everything there so I was able to test it out on a large variety of different makes/models/years because I am definitely aware no scan tool is going to do every single option it has on every single car. Some cars simply just don’t offer certain things but with my test on tons of different makes and models was not good. Almost none of the extra features this was supposed to have that would make it worth the 200$ price worked at all. Like I mean I’d be happy just being able to read codes, see live data, and be able to read abs/air bag lights which I remember my super old crp123 literally was able to read the airbag and abs and even trans codes of almost every car I used it on. And like why I think this is pretty much false is like when I tested it out on a Nissan it told me to get the correct style plug and plug into the data port if I wanted to really see anything more then basic obd data which clearly must be a glitch or something because this definitely doesn’t come with the adapters or does it even mention that anywhere. Like my autel has all these adapters that alllows you to plug right into the data port and get all kinds of info but if that’s what’s needed for this one to show me any decent info then this was a complete waste because then I’d probably have dang near 500$ into if I bought all the diff ends and at that point misewell get a nice bi directional one. Don’t get me wrong this is a very nice regular obd scan tool that is smooth and fast and I love being able to email or print the report right from the scanner but for me this almost seems like a glorified basic obd scanner which if that’s what I wanted then I could have just ordered a standard 40$ one that would basically do everything this one does but not be touch screen or have wifi which are nice features for sure but not 200$ nice. I’d simply prefer a more functional tool vs one that “looks cool” or has cool options. So I’m still on the fence. I might give it another try but I’m thinking it’s most likely going to be returned and I’ll just order a cheapo like 50$ one that will essentially do the same exact stuff this one does. Also I’m very concerned this is the Chinese only model which isn’t quite a bit issue until I ever run into any issues I’m basically screwed so keep that in mind your also essentially getting no type of warranty or anything with this scanner. No matter what it says what will happen when you call customer service and give them the scanner info they are basically are going to give you chinas number and tell you to kick rocks. If this thing was about 75$ cheaper and actually came with the tpms tool it’d be perfect but at almost 300$ Regular price id expect it to at least do air bag and abs but nope your much better off either just spending a couple hundred more and get one that’s not only bi direction but will even do immo and many other features or going the other way and just spending like 50$ and getting one that does the same exact stuff as this one. Wish I knew how to even get in touch with the seller to maybe see about getting some help/info or maybe a replacement or partial refund or something but I can’t find where too so I’ll most likely will just be sending it back. Oh and one other smaller but fairly annoying issue is there is literally no type of like kick stand or anything at all so it can be difficult in some vehicles even getting it propped up properly to be able to see it even.
