Some Pros and Cons of this Zee Hoo Clamp
Great for some types of drivers!I really liked the Zee Hoo fast Qi wireless car charger idea. I liked the reviews of others.I had initially purchased this one. However, I ran into some problems with it. I have found I really like the responsiveness of the company as well to the issues I voiced below.UPDATE: I have been in contact with the company about the thermal issue discussed below. They are now addressing that from an engineering perspective, which should show up in a future product version. It was nice that it was keeping my iPhone 11 charged while driving for DoorDash over many-hour shifts. But I did not expect my iPhone to shut off from overheating, which it did. If I was still doing Uber and Lyft, I probably would have experienced the overheating issue much sooner.UPDATE About the paragraph below: They actually have an upgraded version of this product: https://smile.amazon.com/Upgraded-Wireless-Auto-Clamping-Windshield-Compatible/dp/B082SVRWLT The upgrade, which I now have, overcomes the problem of staying shut when the power is turned off. It uses a capacitor that saves enough charge to open and close the clamps a few times after turning off the vehicle. Great upgrade! If you are not using auto-clamp phone holder for delivery services, this particular version is still very good.Initially, I loved the smooth way a simple button press would release the phone. But when someone does deliveries, they arrive at their destinations and one of the first things they instinctively do is turn off their engines. Oops… The Zee Hoo phone automatically clamps upon the phone when the engine is started or when the system is powered and the phone is placed into it. Nice! Not so nice is that when the USB power source is turned off, the clamp stays tight on the phone. Far too often I had to put the keys back into the ignition to power up the Zee Hoo so I could take my phone for completing the delivery. Because I liked the general concept, I thought I would try to find an USB battery pack that could be kept charged, like a UPS, so that if I accidentally turned off the engine and had already removed the ignition keys, I could still release the phone. I quit that search when the iPhone overheated.UPDATE: The issue below may be addressed in a different product in the future. As I re-examined other products, I discovered this is a more universal problem related to the limitations of a ball-swivel design more than anything else. When I tried to install it, the original suction system did not work for me, because I needed the phone aligned parallel to the dashboard behind the steering wheel. The head section of the suction cup part would not allow for such that, by nearly 90 degrees of angle. That was partially solved by using the vent-grate clip, which I found quite sturdy. However, I wanted something independent of the grate clip because I would love to sometimes feel the air from the vent. So, the second-most important part of the system, the suction cup portion, was useless.Since I was trying to replace a non-charging suction cup system, I already had it in my car. Interestingly enough, the ball-joint systems on this one and that one were the same size, so I simply installed the Zee Hoo on that suction bar system. It worked great. In fact, it worked better with the Zee Hoo Qi charging unit holder than with the original phone clip… It is possible that the Zee Hoo system might have worked, but the prior unit was able to be suction-cup mounted on an uneven surface, unlike the Zee Hoo system.Pros:* It has a very sturdy design* It charges well. It always kept my phone above 80% charge even after five hours of delivery service.* It automatically clamps down on the phone when the car power is turned on or the phone is placed in the holder while the power is on.* The vent grate clip is one of the best I have seen.Cons:* The Zee Hoo Qi charger section can overheat the phone under certain circumstances. It does not have a heat-sensitive switch to turn off the charger. (Future upgrade should solve this.)* When the car power is off, the holder will not automatically release the phone. This is a huge annoyance for delivery drivers. (Existing upgrade solves this: https://smile.amazon.com/Upgraded-Wireless-Auto-Clamping-Windshield-Compatible/dp/B082SVRWLT)* A phone cannot be parallel mounted to the dash with the suction system. (Future new design should solve this.)* If the phone is placed in the holder before the car is powered on, the holder will not automatically close tight on it. (Future new design should solve this.)Overall, if this clamp meets your specific needs, it is sturdy and well built. If you are a delivery driver, go for the upgraded version linked above.Result: I communicated with the company and their honesty really impressed me.

Sturdy - Works with Galaxy S10+ and thick cases!
Foreword:I am ALWAYS skeptical of reviews. I don't care how many positive reviews a product has, because you never know who's been paid to write a good one, or not. With that said, I was NOT paid by the company to leave a positive review. This review is positive because I have had an AMAZING impression with this product. What's in the box? Suction Cup Mount, Vent Clip Mount, Tightening Nut, Type-C Charging Cable, Manual, "Customer Appreciation card" and contact information for warranty requests, or customer service.PROS:¤ Works with Galaxy S10+ in an Otterbox Defender case (with the bottom extension pulled out on the cradle.)¤ Is wide enough to hold my S10+ while in the otterbox (barely, but it is a 3.5" interior grip area.)¤ "Automatic" (Motorized) opening - The charger automatically opens when you touch the side capacitive buttons.¤ "Automatic" (Motorized) closing - When you first place your phone into the cradle as soon as it detects the phone the charger's side arms automatically close evenly with a slight bit of pressure" to hold your phone in place, and once it detects that the phone is cradled it kicks on the wireless charging.¤ Bottom extends to compensate for taller phones like the S10+ so you should be able to use a WIDE variety of phones with this.¤ Wireless fast charge works well.¤ Ventilated design allows the induction coils to get airflow which is ESSENTIAL to ensuring that the product lasts, and doesn't cause your phone to overheat from wireless charging!¤ Extendable "arm" on the suction cup mount.¤ Suction cup Mount has grooves to lock it into place every 5 degrees and can flip front to back 180 degrees for FULL control over how you want to mount this ANYWHERE (I have it mounted on top of my computer tower right now)¤ "Ball-head" actuator allows the phone to rotate any which way you could possibly desire, and secures in place really well. It's slightly larger in diameter than my old Scosche magnetic mount that has yet to break after 2 years of driving for UBER so it should have NO problem lasting!¤ The suction cup on the mount is around 1CM wider, and deeper than my Scosche magnetic mount that has been in my car faithfully serving me for two years now and has only fallen down twice (once was my fault) so this should stay on pretty well! Obviously, the more porous the surface you're mounting to is - the more issues you're going to have. My fusion has pretty flat plastic on the dash console that allows me to mount near the center of my windshield without mounting ON my windshield.¤ Vent clip - This this...Oh My GOODNESS it's SO NICE! I honestly feel like the vent clip is going to be more reliable than the suction mount arm! There is the obvious "pressure clip" that every vent clip has that normally fail, or cause your phone to fly off; but this one has a clamp UNDERNEATH the pressure clamp that you can click into place that holds it on the vent flap BELOW the one you mounted the phone to (or above it, depending on how you orient it) that allows you to have TWICE the security that your phone isn't going to go flying into your gearshift, and shatter your screen! Seriously, I'm IMPRESSED with this vent clip (how often have you seen someone say that?)CONS:Honestly, there are only three cons that I can think of and they are:1. It wouldn't hurt to have extra adjustment locking nuts in the package should one break, but being that it's a single-mold piece from what I can tell it SHOULDN'T break as long as you don't tighten it crazy tight.2. The USB Type-C cord included is NICE!, as is the fact that it's USB Type-C and not microUSB which would fail more quickly, but being only 3 feet long really prohibits mounting locations.3. The extension arm that you loosen on the suction cup mount that adds an additional 3" or so to the length pulls out from the interior of the arm that it's in. The rail seems smooth enough, and isn't difficult to pull out, but my S10+ and Otterbox Defender seem to be VERY close to the weight limit for it when it's extended fully. At regular length it's STABLE (with a little bit of wobble, obviously, but nothing concerning.) For heavier phones, I'd keep it at the regular 6" length, instead of the total possible 9".Other thoughts:For the price, with the included features, capabilities, and design quality - I really don't think this would be a "bad" purchase by ANY means. You get a vent clip, a dash mount, a window mount, any possible adjustment you could think of, stability, security, wireless charging with TYPE-C! (always a win) and a cable (although short.)You'd be hard pressed to find anything that gives you all of that for $40 and I'd know, I've spent well over $250 on various car chargers from over ten different online, and big-box retailers!Zeehoo knocked the ball out of the park with this one!**UPDATE JULY 15, 2019**I still have this charger mounted to my work desk via the suction cup mount. I did have it in my car, but after the extension arm thumbscrew kept undoing itself from vibrations, so I decided to use it at home.It still works great despite sometimes needing to reseat my phone to get fast charging to kick in. I am 100% certain this is due to the massive construction and bulk of my Otterbox Defender and NOT the charger since it works flawlessly on my s7 edge vs my S10+Still a 5 star product by every measure.

Over-all great product
This is a very handy thing to have in your car, I only have a few minor gripes with it.1. It not rigid enough so when you're driving it rattles quite a bit. More so when your phone is not in the mount so it's not that big of an issue to be honest but something to keep in mind.2. The release buttons are located in a spot where I keep accidentally releasing the phone even when I didn't intend to. This is admittedly only an issue if/when you are trying to do something on your phone and since it is illegal to do so while driving, it's only ever an issue when you're stationary. Still, I would like to have had those buttons elsewhere, perhaps higher up on the side of the mount.Over all, very happy with this mount.

Super Halterung
Top

Great wireless charging for my iPhone SE
Easy to use with auto clamping. Originally purchased to use in my vehicle while travelling but have found it very handy as a desktop charger connected to the USB on my laptop.
