Malco products are always quality and this tip shows that. I tried other drivers like Irwin and Dewalt and they worked alright, but Malco just takes the cake. I've had this tip over a year and it still works great, and my coworker has had this tip for three years and his is still going strong. This is an instance where you spend the money and it really pays off. The magnet is strong, the tip is durable and can withstand daily use, I highly recommend this to anyone.

I use this every single day for my job. I install 1-1/4" screws into drywall all day long...every single day. I have purchased the cheaper Irwin bits and they strip out after a month or so.The only downside to this bit is that it is not coated. It's just machined steel, so it will and can rust. I usually paint mine with clear matte fingernail polish as it stays on and won't flake like spray paint or something else. I need it to be clean and rust free because I deal with a lot of white fabric in customers homes.

I bought this driver to install Simpson Strong Drive structural screws in corners where the Simpson driver would not reach. The socket was so tight on the screw heads that I often had to force the screws into it. Also often had to yank on the impact driver to get it to let go. On the bright side, it doesn't slip off of the screws easily.

Updated review 6 months later.. Still 5 stars. I've been using it at least 5 days per week for almost 6 months. I would definitely recommend this product. The quality is great. The magnet is stronger than any other brand I have tried. It sure helps when you're on top of a ladder and your screws don't just fall off because of a weak magnet.

If you're not familiar with malco, you may not be a professional. Outlast any brand bit found at your big box hardware stores by a factor of 10.

I got these for the employees at our sheet metal shop for 50¢ cheaper than at our local malco distributors, we go through about 500-1000 screws a day and these last fairly well as compared to the other consumer brands such as Dewalt or Milwaukee which only last a few weeks before they start slipping.

Perfect,I had one of these for years,before I retired.I had worn it out,so decided if I wanted to keep "in touch" with my old profession,it would be nice to get a new one hoping it will last as long as the old one or me,which ever comes(goes) first! Can't go wrong with Malco products. Thank you

The drivers are one of the best on the market. I have tried dozens of brands and this is the winner. I use it everyday for thousands of nuts. If your looking for quality and performance than this is the bit. Simply the BEST
